I have to politely disagree with you. Not all Alcoholics drink to escape their self-pity, self-doubt, (all that stuff we've heard before) Meaning sometimes alcohol is not about deeper rooted trauma in us ( getting caught up in a labyrinth of emotions) Sometimes we just get addicted to the fun. We like to get high.We injoy the feeling of it , and pretty soon ( because some people don't have a turn off switch ) they find themselves addicted to this fun.We like the buzz the feeling alcohol gives us. I mean you have to admit mainstream Society is very distant toward each other, and breaking down barriers with drugs like ecstasy are enjoyable to people. Now I don't personally like alcohol ,I think alcohol and bars are people operating on a lower frequency ( kind of a dark one.) However some people like it to break down some inhibitions.
