Tosin 😭 this video is Holy Spirit inspired!!!! A leader I honor so much in church did something very terrible and it was revealed to me just yesterday. I was hurt, disappointed and frustrated. I almost said terrible things about the person but I didn't thankfully. I just reported to the appropriate authorities. Then I spoke with my spiritual father; *Apostle Joshua Selman* and he taught me something profound about when someone you honor errs. He spoke about not sowing seeds of judgement but that of mercy and forgiveness. Don't excuse the person's crime but love them and be very compassionate and concerned about them. There's no one that can't fall. He said Mercy is a seed that I'll reap later in life. I learned so much this morning. I can't share half of it 😭. Only to see this video from Tosin this evening. These tips are powerful and practical. I'm so grateful for the wisdom upon you Tosin and upon Joshua Selman 😭😭😭 God bless you.

This video is so timely especially for me because just this morning on my way to church I heard some news about a leader I admire so much in my church, i was shocked and disappointed but then again thank you for these words, I learnt that silence is better and most importantly praying for the person and search the scriptures. It's important to also search our intentions when responding to issues like this. Are you saying what you are saying because you want to seem intelligent and up to date? Would your reaction/response in any way actually bring about a change? Summarily, I believe its important to really search our hearts and usually, if not always,you'd find out that there's absolutely no need to give the response/reaction you would have given.

I Was particularly intrigued by the second point: Watch your lips and the things you say afterwards. The examples used Miriam and Micah coincidentally are both women 🤔 Maybe since women are emotional beings, we tend to think and talk a lot more too?? I believe women should particularly beware of this and of being too flippant. It may even happen unconsciously, but whether consciously or not, Miriams outbreak was instant! My pastor has been hammering on this since last month and more people should hear this. Leaders aside let's not carry church matters home e.g So and So just sang rubbish in church today, do you think what that minister did in church was good? Pastor made mention of being graceful with our words and upholding brethren that fall in grace, there's a reason you were planted where you are.

Lots of Christians, haven't come to terms with the immovable fact that we are one body. It may seem like your own denomination/branch isn't the one in negative spotlight and so you can also throw in negative and abusive comments forgetting that as Tosin said its equivalent to shooting your fallen colleague. If you cant by your own self cut off your own hand then its expedient to refrain from some comments that (you may think are just words) but is harming the body of Christ

The bible states that children are God are those who are led by his spirit. It's important not to react immediately you hear news of a Christians 'fall' We should at all times seek the leading of the Spirit on what to say, if to say anything at all and when to say it. Every Christian is an influencer! And the thought of that should help control our words.

My issue is when people make excuses and say Jesus got angry and disrupted commerce in the temple. I don't agree with making excuses, what you have highlighted is exactly what we should do as believers and not be accommodating of bad behavior.
