If your deck can swarm the board, it is good idea to include Underworld Goddess of Closed World, or Pentestag for cheaper version. In case you do not run main deck out (such as Kaiju).

I mean yeah, when it comes down to it, crooked cook is much more of a cheese deck. Most decks have a way past with direct damage, piercing, kaiju, or just summoning something to their side of the field.

Mine was when I gave the opponent an Iblee then negated Crooked's effect with Code Radiator. But the funniest one I did was when I slowly damaged my opponent with a low-attack Lyrilusc until he got bored and surrendered. 🤣

i once had a duel against someone that had 3 damn piercing damage cards on the field, they tribute them, then kept trying for another 4 turns more before surrendering, thats when i said "holy sht they really dont read what their cards do, they just copy some youtuber and roll with it"

I actually beat a Crooked Cook duelist a few days ago. I used the Kaiju I had - Radion - and Synchro Summoned "Black Rose Moonlight Dragon". I would tribute his Crooked Cook, use my Dragon's effect to bounce Radion back to my hand, then attack directly. He used that same trick TWICE, and I rince-and-repeated. Duel was over after two Battle Phases.

Me too I have literal android gameplay footage of it but he fucks up at the end after he gave me a lava golem and i equiped with phantom knight fog blade plus he threw away his right hand shark off the cooks menu and my dark rebellion xyz dragon was gonna end him too. yeah, crooked cook is not as invulnerable as one might think, its a pretty solid defense though, thats why i run handtraps deck with exodia, final countdown, lots of general searchers and the crooked cook cards, i even put some kaijus or some bounces to defend against piercing damage cards, and keep a backup in case he gets countered, cuz you basically can counter the cook with more stuff other than piercing damage, you can kaiju him, put tokens on his side, wait for the other side to use anything other than the cook, go around him, (like toons) but for anything that targets him, he just doesnt care XD
