When I first started listening to this message, I was saying to myself, what is this? Examine myself? But as Pastor Lewis continued to speak, I began looking at myself, going ahead of God, coming up with my own plans because I was hurt, thinking about my past....the Holy Spirit speaking through Pastor Lewis right on time. Perfect timing! I spoke those prayers, I'm going to write those prayers and say them over and over again. I truly thank God for the men of God that's speaking truth even when it hits home. I thought I was saved all my life because my dad is an evangelist so I spent my whole life in church. I was forced to say the sinners prayer, got baptized when I didn’t really understand what I was doing and the reality is, had I died even up to one year ago I would’ve went straight to hell. It wasn’t until I was truly born again and filled with the Holy Spirit that I understood and now following Christ makes SENSE to me from every single aspect of my life. God is now walking me through my self examination and peeling back layers for healing. All Glory goes God 🙌🏽
