You can hear the detail and reverence she holds for Page and Zeppelin every time she plays their music. That chart says enough. It should come as no surprise Gretchen was once a commercial pilot and is a classically trained musician . I don't even play the guitar, but I find her fascinating. She is to me a Renaissance women, strong , powerful, and extremely intelligent. And of course it is impossible to ignore her physical beauty.

Just wow , so basically , the info you just gave is equal to rocket science , I am surprised NASA hasn't kidnapped you , who would of ever dreamed this song was so in depth , which I have heard it really is but the blueprint you just thru out is such a head spin and to decipher this song , in my thinking , this makes you smarter than Jimmy himself , hats off to you , you just have such class and are so intelligent , talk about hard work an how it pays off , more than just , very interesting , you are genius ; )

Always have been into The Stones and Zepplin , I will say this , you give Zepplin a flare that is so bright , sort of a wizard I must say and you and the band just light of the stage and bring such thunder to what you do , look out Jimmy & Robert .........

Yeah, as I said, heavier than what I believe Jimmy used... but I have used 0.10-0.52s for years, and on my Music Man Silhouette with a floating bridge. So those guages on a Les Paul, which has a slightly shorter scale length (24.75 in verus 25.5) don't feel heavy at all to me. I just prefer the tone of the heavier strings.

Gretchen, on your True Rock amp, It appears your on the crunch channel, can you share your EQ settings. I love the sound of those PAF 36anniversary PUPs. Providence also makes some nice pedals.

Last comment so I worked it out with my drummer pal Frankie Wildman ( Hard Charging Linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings ) HAAA. The way I did it was hearing there were long versions of the riff then short riff oh well as I was typing you said exactly that! LOL

heard Jimmy say he played in open G, but the tape was slowed giving it an F sound. you figuring standard tuning took some doing - props for that. and I agree with tone - grittier is better for me too. you very charming and engaging - great work. Ü ♫

Your band deserves more recognition for sure . Because I've yet to hear a all dudes Led Zeppelin tribute \ cover band that can actually make it their own .. Amazing , I have watched a few performances here on yee ole U tube and the Guild theatre really stands out. How is Anna getting such an accurate and extremely cool sound on the harp? I see she is using a standard 58 style mic but it sounds KILLER is that mic channeled in the mix with some major reverb and echo? Whats the secret sauce, Full disclosure my little band is gonna try this one live and I want to get that Harmonica sound. ITS BAYUUUD ACE!!! Thanks Your Pal Tony

The truth about alternate tunings is dead simple. You need a guitar that is setup specifically for each single tuning. Ergo: One guitar is not enough. That's our hell. And that's when good and cheap guitars can be very helpful.
