In the middle of this education, I got the hoover with the words, "You were the love of my life." This was from over a decade and a half of no contact. I interpreted those words as saying ( within my mind ) was : "Looks like the others got tired of putting up with it." I'm free! And intend to stay that way.👍🙏

Rapid love bomb attempt to suggestions of I needed change. Hah! I was even more rapid in sizing up the situation, thanks to the past few months of an education, along with time apart. Andrew minces no words. It was one of the most difficult things to overcome in my life.

Yes. Narcissists usually have a primary supply (spouse or cohab), and secondary supply they have their eye on to switch the spouse out with. Then they have a smattering of exes, “friends”, groupies, etc. They try to exit to the primary secondary supply but if that doesn’t work they have to move on to whatever panic pick is available which is very often another narcissist or just some groupie who is around. It is very often no one who really cares about them at all. It is just a panic pick. They know the difference.

It's scary to think this person later rethinks how they feel about you . I was obviously there the whole time giving love , help , money . Looking back I don't know how I allowed this manipulation . I was so loving . I feel raped emotionally, mentally, psychologically . I woke up after 11 years coming to understand he's a narcissist coming to these channels. I , like you am healing . It's been beyond painful . Still recovering . 💔. On top of that I lost my pup to cancer August 19 2022 . I'm hurting over my pup . Recovery has been tuff . I'm getting better slowly. Luckily I adopted a sweet kitty 2 months after my pup died from cancer . She just kept coming in my backyard. I had to take her in . She saved me , and I saved her . ❤️💯

Wow! Exactly what happened, 13 years later in the marriage, I told her I’m going no contact. It’s been over one month, endured smear campaign and found out her smear started before I said no more. We went to a church for over 10 years and no one called to ask how I’m doing. That hurt! She has basically turned people I love against me. I ruminated constantly after going no contact. I know it sounds strange but I got my first good nights sleep after my attorney needed information from her for the divorce papers and I broke no contact to have her call the attorney. During that email, I apologized for any specific thing that she said I had done. I told her I take full responsibility! I was free then of guilt. Never expected or wanted forgiveness, just tried to clear my heart. It seemed like the right thing to do. Now the thoughts of the relationship are starting to go to learning a lesson. Presently, Her I love you stuff has started. From watching your videos it is recognized as the hover! I blocked her. Got to move forward and on. Thank You Andrew for your help!!!

Great video Andrew. Well my ex narcissist took so much from me, he used up everything i mean everything. Money , home, i was left with nothing no friends no family i even lost my job . My health was terrible, he never cared about anything that happened to me. I was working to make him happy at all costs no matter what i always thought about him first. I survived, barely but i have slowly started to rebuild my life i have a new job i moved far away from the narcissist i blocked him and i really don't want anything from him anymore. Im moving forward i do get lonely sometimes but at least i don't have a useless monster trying to hurt me everyday. Thank you everyone for your kind words and thank you Andrew.

Perfect topic; I have not browsed the ex's socials in 6 months, but for whatever reason I did tonight. She updated her profile picture just 2 days ago. I can see in her eyes how unhappy and lost she is. I can easily surmise she's only updating because the 'new supply' didn't go the way she expected it to go. I feel so bad for 'abandoning her'- but she abandoned me first so. Like I was supposed to 'hang around' while she 'shopped around' for a 'better' suitor? Yeah that's right- I said "No!" I'll tell you this though- looking at her new profile picture- I don't even know the person I'm looking at and we were together for 14 years. It's sad, but these people are not stable- they lack a stable sense of self. I tried- god knows I tried blood sweat and tears. But after the discard- after everything i'd done, sacrificed; slaved to keep this relationship afloat...to be tossed aside like yesterdays newspaper- I had to say "NO". Like Andrew says- I'm mourning something I never had. It's a real mindfuck.

@@joolz3078 They don't actually sleep; nor sleep well; they are always on edge. She kept me up for hours and hours at night scrolling her phone. They fear sleep- as it's another one of their 'psychotic fears'. Because it challenges their control over the world. Renders them 'vulnerable'. Don't be fooled- they don't sleep well at night. They never have; and they never will. They are inherently unhealthy people- and lack of sleep is a HUGE contributing factor. I don't envy her.

This channel has helped so many people! A therapist told me: write down every awful thing they did or are. Imagine if they told you the day you met "Hello. My name is _______ I'm going to do all of these things to you". Would you run? Yes!!! That's how you know it's a trauma bond and NOT LOVE. Also. My favorite friend is a Shaman. He has watched me cry through many many dark times healing from the hurt of the cluster B. When I explained my story he laughed and said "awe! I love the dark souls! They're so cute! And being a dark soul is the worst job in the universe!!! They can't feel love." Imagine that life. But alas. We are all on our perfect journey. What is meant for you will not pass by you! These days, the only frogs in my life are Mr. Toad, who's living in my flower garden eating the bugs that the birds leave behind. The narc frogs 🐸 are blocked 🚫, and gray rock 🪨. As I’ve worked through my recovery, one of the hardest things to deal with is the extent that these monsters want to destroy you - I truly believe mine would have been preening if he could have pushed me all the way to death. Once I was clear of him the easiest was to see how he had harmed me with intent on a daily basis but it took years to uncover how far reaching and methodical his smear campaign was, even trying to destroy my career that he was benefiting financially from. I can now see ways he tried to permanently damage my physical health. My mental health - it was a toy to him. Andrew is a blessing to all of us with his insight and wisdom, reminding us that not only has there never been anything wrong with us, there was and is so much right.

I knew soon after I met her, and I still know today that I was the best person to have ever entered her life. Is it narcissistic of me to say that? When the relationship was ending, I said 'good luck finding someone better'. She never will. I know that through and through. She liked me for my good sense of humor, my super-computer intellect, my too-die-for physique (not really, but just allow me a little puffing up), my capacity for kindness, empathy, and love. She shouldn't have tried to date someone as smart as me because eventually, after four years, I figured her out. I saw through her mask and as soon as I did, she gave me the classic and cruel narcissistic discard. I know, to this day, that I was the first person to have seen through her disguise, and it upset her big time. I don't know if I'll ever have another relationship, but if I do I will not allow myself to be taken advantage of again. She will age disgracefully, but luckily for me, although I'm 56, I still look 32. My body seems to have stopped aging then. Thank you, Andrew, for another affirming video. I just went through the same thing. He was 64 and I thought he was more mature. After the silent treatment and several discards, I knew he didn’t know how to have a real relationship. I told him he would never find anyone else like me because I am empathetic, caring, smart, and positive and happy about life. All of the men I meet tell me that I look way younger than I am. He will be regretting losing me since he will never find the “whole” package again.

After that he said that I was'nt so great. I was insecure he said. He said people wanted me out of the choir, but that he told them the choir needed me because I had contacts. He was afraid of me and wanted to get rid of me. My husband told me, that my son isn't interested in what I have to say. My mother told me I must be great when I manage such a difficult job. She seemed surprised. She always puts my gifts down and praises my sisters gifts. What I am trying to say that the narcissists take you for granted and don't value you for who you are. They take you for granted and put you down. When you put up boundaries they are angry and surprised. One narsissistic friend told me that he wasn't after money. When I told him I woun't get anything from my husband when we divorce he stopped contacting me. I used to.contact that friend earlier, but now I have no contacct with him. I don't need him in my life anymoore and I am moving on with my life. He probably will miss me, but that is his problem. I have forgiven him and life is beautiful. Thank you all in this group💕💞

whats important to remember is that their pathological nature makes it impossible to change so they are repeating the abusive cycle with the next target(s)....so although they will never have anyone as good as us...we have ourselves and can have a healthy relationship after healing....thats the thing to remember...its all so superficial for them...not so with anyone of real substance or heart...realizing who you are and what you brought to the table is all that matters now...with the right people thats enough

This is so interesting, Andrew. It has long lasting detrimental effects, the narcissistic relationship, and it takes knowing how to handle any contact with them. I hated those long “to-do lists” everyday all of my married life! I am reading now and enjoying much more peace and yes, now it’s the kids dealing with the narcissist. I got the narc gone for two-and-a-half years. I had spent seven with him because I felt sorry for him. I didn't know about any of this stuff. Then he came back and love bombed me and I fell for it. But only for a short time. At the end of 8 months I got a protective order and he was thrown out of my house. I will never speak to him again. He used to say karma was a b**** and I know he's experiencing that now because no one would put up with what I put up with and be as kind and loving as I was. Definitely enough was enough. It's only been a month and a half and God is healing my broken heart and crushed spirit. Day by day I am getting stronger and healthier and I am healed in the name of Jesus.❤

Still unemployed, credit cards maxxed relocating her stuff, and then again when her sister kicked her out less than a week later. That relationship and several others are gone after going mask off. Homeless and living in a little truck she cant afford to gas up. Still no job and her new supply is in another country...and barred re-entry after trying to break in to move her shit while I wasn't home. Karma is an absolute bitch and a half. 🤷‍♂️

I went no contact recently, my ex husband has been texting incessantly and I gave in and answered (which I should not have), I said; "I have been busy" , his response was; "You are not that busy, why don't you answer?"...that is utter disrespect! He has no clue what is going on in my life at this point. So like an idiot, I respond to that and say; "That was very disrespectful to say to me that I am not that busy"...then I really grasped what I was doing. I allowed him to trigger me, he said that on purpose to get a response. I'm still learning, I can't allow that anymore.

However, I keep in contact even though I'm trying to go no contact. It does not seem like he will pay me back anyways. I have to take legal action but I don't want to go down that road, he should just pay what he owes. He makes me feel that if I cut him off, he won't send me any checks. I think I have to call his bluff and file a court case. Even if it's small claim. I'm so tired of dealing with him at this point. I'm going to stop answering and block!!! I absolutely love your videos. I am right now getting ready to file for divorce. I have been with a narcissist for 14 years and it literally makes me sick to my stomach when I now think about all the things that were done to me and all the years of jumping through hoops thinking that I was doing something wrong. Not realizing that this has been a mind game for him from the very beginning. All of the infidelity that he constantly lied about. I served this man like he was a King. I ended the cycle myself, he did not get a chance to discard me. I discarded him and went silent. I am currently trying to move out of the home, however, I have been able to go silent and treat him like he does not exist. I am so proud of myself. He has tried to gaslight me several times since I put an end to this abuse, however, I have not fallen for it. It has been a month since I took my power back. ❤️

What I learned in recovery: "NO" is a complete sentence. No need to offer a reason; no need to defend yourself. What a simple, real, self-care truth, and a mental-health lifesaver! Collateral Damage: It drives the narc crazy! 😂 They will ask "Why??" because what they're trying to do is engage you in verbal Hoovering. *DO NOT ENGAGE!* My simple response always is, "That's how I feel about it." Right on the $ as usual, Andrew, thank you! One thing though, my friend who was involved with a narc was a fill-in supply while he was waiting for a "sign" from his separated but still legally married to someone else 1st choice supply. Supply #1 wished she could get divorced but then tragically she would lose her health insurance that her husband's plan afforded her, her child, & her other child from another husband. #1, btw., is a lawyer who may need a lot of things but health insurance? Not so much. The narc had continued to mistake what he imagined were signs during the time he was using my friend - whom he was love bombing to smithereens. Suddenly though, after spending the night with each other & making love, he woke up & told my friend he had to go to the bank. It was lie (they were all closed). She knew it. Because he wanted her to. He had received another sign. A few hours later, my friend got an email saying, "I can't be with you anymore." Wait what??! Yup. Tragic. But wait, please ... it turned out that after agreeing to be his girlfriend, supply #1 explained that she had to move v-e-r-y slowly because er, she had "forgotten" how to er, girlfriend. It's been a year since my friend was discarded & her ex-narc & his smoke signaling gf have been out on 2 dates - where they went for lunch & a dinner. They do not see or speak to each other unless it's about work & to say goodnight via text. If he texts her, she won't respond until hours later. Aw, how sad. No, there's been no s=x, but that's not important, he can wait. He can wait until her children from men who are not his are grown-up & moved out before he can be introduced to them or ANY member of her family. They don't actually do ANYTHING that one would imagine or suppose or even expect from a significant other. She gives him "favours" to do for her - errands & assignments (kindly find a better school for the daughter I won't permit you to even meet) which I believe he takes as more "signs". So, as he waits (should only be about 15 yrs but he's said he'd be willing to wait for 20 - well, dude by your calculations only 19 more) he spends his evenings living in the same room since his childhood with his parents & plays video games ... as he waits & waits. Sheesh it's all so so very sad. Excuse me, I just have to take a second ... to laugh my head off!! It's all HA HA HA just so LOL sad ... I'm in tears 😂 here. My friend & I also don't give a ka-ka that her narc was out-narc-ed by an even better narc! Probably the first & last time either of us ever root FOR a narc. We think it's for a good cause & reason. I wish nothing but the speediest of recoveries for all the beautiful, kind, empathetic souls who did NOTHING to deserve ANY of what was done to them. Hang in there, you are not alone & you WILL heal & like a broken bone that only gets stronger once it's healed so it shall be for you. Blessings & namaste.

That smear campaign was a hard one. She told everyone I joined a cult as I got in shape and became an entrepreneur while also starting my life coaching business. It was all to manifest a life without pain as I finally established my own boundaries, which she labelled control issues. Then she went off to start dating other men immediately after I asked her to just stay with her parents for the weekend. This was 4 months ago. I'm almost 42 and now in the best shape of my life and have a positive mindset that I've been developing for the last 2 years when I finally got sick of my own crap. She fought my growth by belittling my changes as she kept saying I was going crazy.
