In my opinion we don't need to See this world as a game to explain what's happening. Liz is a Saint and due to some history bullshit she is destined to be loved by all which manifests as i call it "protagonist buff" which seemingly hypnotizes most people with some exceptions like Duke who is an equal to Liz and people who have strong beliefs contradicting Liz, like Gill. I Am honestly Just waiting for the Next history lesson that explains the love triangle between white, Blue and black roses. That last part is uncertain but im pretty sure that the first part is correct.

I'm not sure how everyone didn't noticed the mistake with the title of this video, but the "When the villainess rips a man's eyeball out." When in reality, it's her own eye that she rips out and transplanted it for the old man. Just wanting to let you know... Edit: Alright, when you put it like "Ripping a mans eye out to switch with her own", that would make sense for the title to be like that...

I read a LN recently where the healing was a reverse. In that LN the demon kingdom version of healing was transferring damage to the other. Meaning the healing clan have human sl4v3s and tend them so that they have stocks to use their "healing" on. The LN is Zilbagias the Demon Prince.

Alicia thinks she’s the villainess, but plot twist-she’s the real heroine! Like, who even just hands over an eye to someone? Girl, that’s next-level precious! No wonder the Duke is losing it-she literally gave away something as priceless as her own eye. Meanwhile, Liz? Oh, she’s giving majorly cunning vibes.

It could be that the game subconsciously affects the minds of the characters. Making Liz extremely good and naive, that's why she didn't restrain the bad guy in the other episode. That's was her true personality fighting the game. In the same way Alice being rude to the Duke could be the game affecting her trying to keep the plot in line with the game.

This is such a great episode because so many things happened. Alicia shows off her magic skills, heals Will, disses Liz and her fan club before telling Duke to back off and respect her boundaries. I liked that it was the most villainess part of her this episode was her confrontation with Duke but it was the part that left her the least happy.

That conversation between Alicia and Liz is one of my favorite moments so far. Both are still "in character" as villainess and heroine, but the new nouance is so welcome. Liz is actually starting to doubt her own goodie-two-shoes act, and the way Alicia told her "it's your power, your faculties, why have you not learned their limitations and risks?". That freckled groupie of Alicia's is such an entiteled B*tch. Wonder how Alicia will handle her... Now, the Duke situation... good cliffhanger. What will Alicia do? How will she fix this mess of her own making? This is a good show. The kind that makes me want to see the GOOD visual novels animated. Stuff like Root Double, Zero Escape, or Riddle Joker, or Senren Banka. The VNs that have good stories. And I know Riddle Joker and Senren Banka (from Yuzusoft) also have +18 content, but that stuff is not necessary for them to be good and fun stories.

I wouldn't be surprised if that 91 level body-part swapping spell was originally used to swap caster's bad/old parts with other people's healthier parts. But of course, Alicia being the villainess she is, she uses it in the most wholesome way possible. :P I remember that Level 99 Villainess show also had a mechanic similar to what you describe - the nominal protagonist of the game wasn't isekai'd or evil, but instead sometimes the plot force would kick in and make her act out of character to better match the intended storyline. Though there it was a lot more explicit, and I'd personally prefer if it was slightly different than forcing the script. More like an "internal" Saintess' blessing force acting in line with "everything must work towards the Saintess' favour" which _happens_ to align with the game events, as opposed to external force explicitly acting towards "everything must work according to the game script" goal. On that note, I really like how Liz herself is aware of how anything she puts her mind to gets resolved in a way she desired, and that's what founds her mindset. It may not be a thought that occurs on its own, but when you consider it - if everything worked towards someone's favour all their life, it's natural for them to expect things to work out in the future as well. Sure, they may be able to rationally figure that things might not always go their way, but first it'd need to be a possibility they consider - "known unknowns" rather than "unknown unknowns" - and also it's still at odds with how human experience-driven intuition works. In fact, maybe she wasn't even aware of her blessing before the kidnapping incident, because she took it for granted like people take air. The kidnapping incident might be the first major hurdle she encountered, which may have led her to reevaluate her own mindset and consider where it comes from. She may not yet have figured out things properly, but she's trying and she's evolving! With more of Alicia's prompting and self-reflection, she might be able to achieve a greater ending than whatever happy endings the game had.

👏👏👏👏👏 Alicia has become such a fantastic villainess and I know how she is but she reminds of like how you see a respectable demon lord in a story, can be cruel but very kind and is respected by those who believe in her vision. As for Liz this episode finally proves it, Liz isn’t evil it’s just she doesn’t realize she’s wrong. The life she’s living and the luck that follows is what made her this but Alicia is changing her, heck like you say she acknowledges what happened during that incident and recognizes the mistake. Yet her view got slightly more twisted as now she said she believes in her own self luck and everything is gonna be fine BUT I love what Alicia did to combat that, she told Liz a truth she hadn’t thought possible, that she hates Alicia and you can truly tell that Alicia is getting through to Liz because anyone in that situation with a resolute will would deny it firmly yet she actually got shaken by it. I don’t know how this’ll end but my guesses are either Alicia takes her out in the end or she gets through to her completely and gets a chance at starting over.

So in this episode of level 91 villainess. Alicia gave one of her eyes to a fellow man. Which is the most unselfish thing I have ever seen a villainess do. Like seriously it’s just stupid to call her a villainess after this but that is just how Alicia is lol. I also feel so bad about her father first his daughter go and see some poor villages before seeing him. Despite how he has been so worried about her for two years. Then when he finally sees her again she has lost one eye. And she says that was on purpose as she gave one of her eyes away. Which I can understand why her father did fall down after hearing that. As if I had such a daughter I would probably react the same way. Then we see that Alicia has trained her villainess monologue. As she did win a smack talk duel with one of Liz’s followers. Good thing that Liz knows healing magic as that student did receive quite some burns. I also like how Alicia did call out Liz the heroin for perhaps hating her. As she did only stop her and not the criminal as he was about to stab Alicia two weeks ago. Alicia also looks much more beautiful villainess now with her new dark outfit and eye patch. And last but not least I like how the game might be forcing her to be even more of a villainess. Because of how she said those things to Duke despite not wanting too

Imo Liz doesn't understand her own power. And there is nobody who will tell her that apart from Alicia. Everyone else is just adores her. But she is a good and caring person, so when Alicia starts calling her on thing she does she starts asking herself if she is actually doing something right or not. And that is why subconsciously Liz seeks for Alicia's opinion.
@AlphishCreatureАй бұрын
Yeah, I think Liz might on subconscious level both understand Alicia's harshness is required for her growth, but also still - subconsciously - dislike Alicia for that. Which is actually pretty great, because it shows more humanity to Liz' character. Perhaps the saintly demeanour of hers isn't a product of an exceptional underlying personality, but a fairly regular personality interacting with beyond exceptional circumstances? Which would be a whole lot more interesting direction to take things, and I'm here for it!

Considering the spell is super high level dark magic, it makes me wonder if the true purpose of the spell was just to steal other peoples parts. But just because of the way she phrased it, being that she "can give her body parts away" just changed the perception on it to being a good thing. I also wonder if something like would or could even matter before the end of the season, but wateva

Well, the pink hair twin ponytail girl, it's a prince ally, the fun fact is that in the Manga, she never shown before the window scene, the prince never talk in secret with anyone, so when she is shown and with the dialog, most readers asumed she was another player manipulating the story, later we knew who she was, and that so far, not seem to be another player around. The eye transplant was kinda more wild in the manga, but i guess for tv was ok, the liz spech was great. it's a great adaptation, but with only 4 episodes to go, don't think it's gonna be a definitive ending, they are near the manga, and that story is far from getting near the end.

I'll get this out of the way first: Damn Alicia looked amazing in that black outfit with her hair up! So gorgeous! Anyway, my personal theory is that there might be some mysterious/invisible force or something helping Liz. Could be a fairy godmother, a spirit or some deity because the way Liz was saying that everything seems to always go her way and work out makes me think she's not doing anything consciously. It could also explain why nearly everyone around her worships the ground she walks on and how that one group of girls went from bullies to worshippers. I'm probably wrong, but it's a thought.
@AlphishCreatureАй бұрын
I think it might very well be the saintess' blessing of sorts - it's been already established with prophecies and stuff that the saintess will come and bring prosperity to the kingdom, and if I recall correctly it happened in the past as well. So perhaps the underlying explanation for "sainthood" is someone being born surrounded by great fate-altering powers that Liz hasn't yet mastered the use of. She might not even have been aware of those powers before the kidnapping incident, taking things for granted before encountering the first major setback.

I hope they keep Liz as a naive, 'badly written' heroine whose ideals only work out via the hand of god. The core of the series has been Alicia exposing that and acting as a foil to make her a better character, after all, and it's starting to barr fruit like with her asking for Alicia's side of the argument. As for what happened to Alicia at the end... Hard to say. It could be her original character snapping out, but it's also just as possible she panicked and pushed him away because she didn't know how to deal with his concern for her. Something to be said, though, is that she was only supposed to enter the Academy, and thus the game's plot, this year. Which gives some credit to the idea the fated history of this world is trying to nudge her into her intended role at last l.
@AlphishCreatureАй бұрын
