I didn't even enter a Craglorn trial until I was over 1300 CP probably, finding 12 friends to do the content just seemed like too much effort (this was before I knew Craglorn was PUG Central). I started doing normal trials and getting better overall and now I'm working on vet trials, next step will be more hard modes.

People are insane about shit like this. Some guy had been trying to run a vHOF run for several weeks. He kept having to cancel it, because he couldn't get 12 people. On the third week, he was one person short, a tank. I main a tank, and have multiple tank clears on all of the vet trials and some DLC hard modes. I have a cleared HOF on a DPS. I said hey I would like to tank this and have a dps clear. The guy was like sorry but you need a clear as a tank. They chose to cancel the run instead of taking me because I didn't have a clear in that role. BTW: I have every tank set that is currently used in trials, and it's all perfected and golded out, including the jewelry.

I still remember when 20k DPS was the requirement for vet craglorn trials and vMoL way back in the day. It was BS back then (got my clear of vaa back then with near top of DPS with only 17k) and is BS now unless going for score pushing. Most important thing for doing trials or vet content in general is to learn the mechanics, get good at those and any half decent gear (even overland + crafted) for the role can perform just fine for that content.

The amount of times I go in vet Trials with guildies and after an hour or so one person would say: "Oh shit, I have my PvP gear!" or "I forgot my food buff!", etc. And then we would be all laughing because our main goal is to have fun... even in vet Trials Hard Mode because let's face it, the game will always surprise you with a new bug even if your group is fully optimized. Oh, my best one is when our healer somehow had a Ruby Ash staff equipped instead. LOL

The really shocking thing is that less than 5% of ESO players seem to know that raids completed vMoL and vHoF HM in 2017 when most good players did 40-50k DPS. The elitist attitude is all part of the escalating toxicity that has infected group PvE content steadily over the years. People take it way too seriously. I wish someone made videos where they tank vCR+3 in crafted gear to try and combat this. Group dynamic > Knowledge of mechanics > Player skill > abilities on bar > gear > previous achievements

Just saying the 30 - 40k parses in 2017 were done on 3m - 6m until trial dummy was later released, the parses then would of been more round 60 - 70k on. A trial dummy, numbers which were seen on the release of those numbers. Also sources of dps has increased last few years, currently the trial dummy respec means a 100k parse is equivalent to 85k parse pre dummy buff, and its not toxicity, its the evolution of the game, more dps aids your supports. If a large number of dps on sever hits 100 - 110k with a few hitting 110 - 120+ why would you opt to take someone hitting 80k or someone unwilling to even parse to know their damage. Thing is players who hit 110k practiced until they understood their class effectively and worked hard to gain raid awareness matching their damage meaning they deserve to be taken over someone too lazy you work at progressing their abilities and becoming better rather than just expecting the 11 other people in group to make up the difference for them

I did vet spindle clutch one once on my geared out trials healer, with my friend tanking. Our two dps were sub cp 100, and kept getting one shot. Finally on the last boss we just kept them on the floor. I slotted nova, he had atro since he was a sorc tank. I just kept wall of elements and shards down, and then as soon as ults were ready we’d hit each other’s synergy’s. Longest boss fight ever. And dps were sitting there cussing us out the whole time.

Important thing to keep in mind is that typically people who ask for really specific and often overkill requirements for stuff like this, are not very experienced themselves. An experienced player or group will know that either they can compensate for a certain amount of underperformance (which is usually to be expected in pug scenario), or if it’s to join a regular group, can teach a player and help them optimize. As a raid lead, I’d much rather take someone who I think will work well with the group and most importantly is flexible & willing to learn, than someone who pulls better numbers but isn’t a team player. It’s easy enough to help someone get their numbers up (if they’re willing to learn & adapt), it’s a lot of work to try and manage an ***hole

@@coffeeScryer Yeah it's definitely possible, I find the main thing is keeping your head on a swivel for interrupts, (which is why I like crushing shock more than FP even tho it's less damage) and listening the the banter usually gives clues on the mechs. Still though, I'll watch like a xynode mechs video before going vet on stuff I haven't ran before. It's good to know priority targets and stuff like that.

It is because of BS like this I kinda don't even bother with trials any more. Usually I try do them just once - to clear the map. I hope one day we will have a normal Trial group finder support. Even if that will only be Craglorn ones only.

It's this reason I never do Vet Trials. Unless there's a DPS check, there shouldn't be a dumb requirement. For me, all I want is maybe perfected Relquen or a cool skin from a certain Elsweyr Trial. But the sheer intimidation alone and the unwillingness to get carried tells me I will never own these cool things. The only reason I've ever been able to do vAA (the only Vet Trial I ever done) is only because the group was cool enough to let me. It was the first time I ever did it and I was also a Melee Stamblade. My build had 80k DPS potential but I don't think I ever really hit it consistently. But we nailed the Trial in a little over an hour and I was actually doing solid. Mainly cuz the instructor was cool, patient, and super informative.

The guild I joined recently has no requirements for trials other than those that the game imposes (level 50 for vet). We're starting at the bottom and working up, so got standard and hard mode vet clears for Sanctum Ophidia, then standard, hard mode and time trial vet clears for AA. We are there to have fun, even when we took 2 sessions to clear hard mode SO🙂.

They're very lenient and so far we do fine. 60k minimum for Vet Trials, things are well explained, and they don't care what your Class is or if you're Stam or Mag. As long as you're CP1000 or higher and can do at least 60k dps, you're good. In another guild I'm in, they needed a DPS at the last fight and it was HRC HardMode. It's the only Vet Trial HM I've finished and it was nice. My StamBlade DPS can do a bit over 76k dps on a Parse Trial Dummy so ye. I feel proud of that as it's the highest I've been able to do in this current update.

I wasn’t godslayer or anything,but I have silver skin HM halls an Dromathra destroyer (PS4) an every HM speed ND for dungeons except stone garden (last patch I played) over the years I just got tired of people like this. 97k Mnb at the time with trash internet. *why don’t you play something else?* I’ve cleared virtually everything on that class an played daily for years that’s why. So playing something I have zero exp with isn’t going to help,even if I dummy hump an hit 100-110. If a whole 5k dps from ONE person at inflated numbers makes or breaks the trial when we were clearing things like vmol an vhof when 40k 3 mil was GOOD then I’m not the problem it’s the group. :( I remember craglorn back in the old days was 25k minimum requirement lmao. I've only done 5 trials as a somewhat newer player. I've completed VSS on my first try, but the trial leader was like this. I've tried just normal rock Grove once and normal cloudrest 3 times now and the leaders weren't like this and half the group left on the last boss including me. I've successfully completed 1 out of 5.

In my experience normal Cloudrest is easy, unless they decide to do +2 or +3. The last is almost a guaranteed fail with PUGs, but some leaders may go for it to get jewelry. I think only +2 is needed for that, if I remember correctly though. There is the issue of portals, but that only requires 3 or 4 designated / experienced players. Even tanking nCR+0 is super easy. Normal Rockgrove is a bit harder on a PUG, but most runs I've been in on PC EU have succeeded. I usually PUG as a DD, e.g. I'm just one of the masses, not like I'm carrying it.

As a player who did my first vDSR ever clear like 2 weeks ago at most, I am shocked at the amount of ppl there who behave themselves as first timers who doesn't know shit about mechs despite linking achive. Even some RLs, though, at least most of them know the shit they do regardless of the role (I am talking about randoms groups ofc, not guild organized ones, those are smooth like butter, came in, shredded through bosses, got the loot, repeat several runs in 2 hours). I can confidently say that even though my trial dummy DPS is still at the low standard of currents requirements (I can barely hold stable 90k and most, if not all, organised groups on discord nowadays require 90k as the lowest of the lowest pass), I am better at mechs now there than 90% of those randoms. Like, holly cow, the audacity of them to try go in and hope to hitch a free carry through the trial without doing at least one mech on one of the bosses. And I should mention that I am OK with ppl who openly admit they don't know mechs that good yet but are willing to learn (we got a couple runs like that that turned out to be a learning runs, lol), but noooo, most of them if asked "do you know the mechs" just stay silent and then we spend over an hour on the first boss because they don't know how to bash in case of emergency, when to swap domes if needed and the "cookies". Its always 3 or 4 DDS who know and actively volunteer to do all mechs and if you try to ask the "shy" silent majority to back up someone, then its almost a guaranteed wipe if something went wrong and the person who originally was on the position is lying dead (cause those "who cares about mechs" guys also seem to have no situational awareness at all and don't revive ppl, even tanks). That's a small cry from me, who tries to bind all perfected sets while the current event is active (double loot in High Isle), and tries to do at least one vDSR run each day. If I cant find an organized guild run, trying to do a random group is a complete disaster on 3 out of five occasions, and I am always one of the first to claim a bash position or reefs XD

Pretty much sums up ESO See so many people wanting/needing people to sign up for their trial. Nobody even bothers because people will just demand to see their resume and if it's not mile long or not hitting 100k+ dps you're not welcomed. These people not understand that it wasn't so long ago 70k dps on a 21m was actually the standard to join in most Trial groups. 80k dps was like 100k dps back then. ​@@malakash4716 They really are not that bad. vHRC is stupid simple and takes like 30-40 minutes with a good group. Hell a just okay group can clear it in 45 minutes. Just sit in Craglorn and hop in a group. If they need requirements, don't group up. I've literally done the trial with 8 people and 4 companions. You just need to have 6 people on the bottom floor to move forward for the second boss part. Glhf!

This usually happens when a small guild is missing just a couple of players and they arent confident that they can even clear the content. So ofc they wanna find people who are much better than them.

I've run elden hollow I three times ( old daily) and the people in the group always leave because a cp 40,cp 230 and cp 400 dd. What CP would you require? Healers are the first to go, They always leave at the big plant boss. I will attempt to tank EH1 again for a 4th time, gotta give the low cp a chance.

I usually queue up as either a tank or healer and I try to never dip on the account of other players CP lvls.. but I have to admit that I get excited when I see cp1500+ players in the group. But but I do remember being cp 100 and lower.

Sad but this is mostly true AF. I had a group tell me to tank I needed to be wearing set A set B and x monster set. Then unlike a dps I needed to be able to tank a trial by myself up to after the 1st boss. Like huh? I just want gear man. These rules set by players are what make others just say screw it and never do a trial. Or think that because they're a certain CP they can't join

I’ve actually never seen this for vHRC and I pug it frequently for gold jewelry mats. I’ll host it and explicitly state that I don’t care if people haven’t done the trial before joining. There shouldn’t be requirements for braindead content, and pugs with new people spice it up.

@@eintracht691 yeh it depends on if the people pugging that dungeon are buddies. They will gang up to kick. In eso most 4 man content doesn't require any healers. Peeps prefer to speed through it so they will remove anyone they think isn't going to help in that. I would highly recommend you join a guild and get a group. If I was in your group I would keep you for sure. Started an Xbox account and I'm seeing what ur seeing. It can get annoying especially for healers trying to level undaunted and simply do dungeons for fun.
