When there were 4 players in the game, Magenta was still fairly small localized to Italy, Pete set, and I was like, KILL MAGENTA on 4 cards. With magenta dead this probably speeds up the game by half an hour.

Cloning via DNA only would not really be ressurection. For the same reason identical twins can be different. Experiences and memories shape who we are as much if not more than our genetics. Now, if we become able to perfectly scan the human brain (Not sure if youve read Ready Player 2 but that is a perfect example), did it right before the person died and download that into the clones brain then you could probably classify it as resurrection.

I've only been watching for a week or two, but this is the best. The fight with purple was great as a spectator. I'm no master, so I don't understand why yellow didn't hit after purple went down. They knew their own troop count, knew pete's count, and should have known that taking out purple was expensive.

Purpey boy was the only guy fighting back against the player pulling down 35+ per turn in reinforcements. If purple hadn't broke bonuses then Pete just cap stacks and then picks off the other players one by one. Purple at the other end of the snowball probably gets second.

I think the minor break at minutes 21-22 was yellow attempting to retaliate without escalating. You break my shit I break yours, but I won't break it all so we don't have to go to war? I mean, obviously I can't read minds and there's no way to ever know for sure, but that's my read. As to basically throwing the game at the end, either he realized he was probably going to lose from speed, or he decided since you did all the heavy lifting with purple (and almost everyone else, LOL), they decided to reward your effort. That second one I'm less certain on and it's pure guess, but the first one I have an inkling at least. Given how he stayed passive most of the game except when an obvious window opened. Like you often say: Letting my enemy get more troops is good when they're going to use them on my other enemies. Add-on: FYI Clarktech is the term for tech indistinguishable from magic, because Clark's Law is the thing you were saying that sufficiently advanced tech will always look like magic to the initiated.

I think yellow intentionally gave it to you at the end as a homie move. I think he recognized you out played him ultimately and decided you deserved the win more than he did. He sat by during the whole fight with purple that he watched from the sidelines without intervening. I’ve definitely gifted a win or two like that in the past for what I perceived as excellent play. Two standout plans I'd have in this game, block purple by leaving two stacks inside his bonus that are both much bigger than pinks 18, forcing purple to trade troops with and break pink for you or accept 4th. Or retake your bonuses and leave a huge threat stack in between pink and yellows cap, and stay out of the south, give the other players the opportunity to fight each other over scraps

44:08 breaking yellow really not the play here, no need to antagonise him, if pink has botted it will do the breaking for you. Retake your bonuses and leave a stack in France is the play, make purple hit the bot, maybe leave a small stack defending Orient from the bot. If you did this instead you would've had a 20 stack guarding Orient, Yellow would have a bot 15 stack inside his bonus and purple wouldn't have been able to break your Orient. (purple set on 3 would have smahsed your France stack but that costs him too and you can probably card block him next turn)
