Nice to see the chuckle brothers back together. Golfing and laughing. I think Bernie has been watching Jimmy Bullard who uses that method of chipping pretty successfully 👍

Played Carne a few times. My Mum was born 2 miles away. It’s as a wild a links course you will find anywhere. Last played it in June 2018 during the heatwave, not often it’s 30 degrees in Ireland. Some fantastic footage of all the courses Dan 👍

I’ve played Royal County Down & Ballybunion, but some of the hidden coastal gems are absolutely fantastic. Add this with Irish hospitality ✅✅✅

Dooks links in co Kerry, Tralee (not so hidden). Seapoint links north of Dublin. Tulfarris west of Dublin towards Carlow. Gowran park Kilkenny, in the racecourse but excellently done. Totally agree about snakes Dan, here in South Carolina we have several venomous snakes plus alligators, looking for a playing partner’s ball this week I saw a very healthy cotton mouth, I know your familiar with them from your time in Florida. Thanks for the SMS always a great watch!

The courses look stunning really looking forward to the footage. Interesting to see Bernie going for the Jimmy Bullard method, something I might try. Of course you have to climb that dune to hit a shot mind you I’d have an ambulance nearby just in case

Good video dan it’s funny how many different ways there are for chipping I always try different clubs as it gives you more variety. And ultimately it’s very much a putting stroke for me,as I don’t like putting off the edges of our greens as they tend not to be very good. It’s very different when we go to other courses but even then I’m very often chipping,as I’m so used to doing it.

Lived in Ireland for 10 years, not far from Alex’s new abode, great golf courses, it’s just the weather is rarely good. At Royal County Down they say if you can see the mountains of Mourne, its about to rain, if you can’t see them, its raining. Everywhere is so green and we know why, think England late 2023 early 2024, and that’s Ireland as a rule, so depressing.

We have those rakes at our place…….. but I must say your technique left a lot to be desired! Digging too deep with the teeth. They are very cathartic though. Eases the pain of going in the bunker in the first place……….
