Throne and Liberty is an upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game by NCSoft. It was supposed to be part of the Lineage series and a sequel to the first Lineage game, but it was repurposed and restructured well into development.

I think some people in the comment didnt understand why the gameplay is bad. Is not necessarily because is tap Target, its because is a mobile mmo game, you dont have to do nothing aside of choosing the next destination. And the character do it for you. Is kinda of ok on phones because we usually play doing other stuff. And brcause the controls are terrible by nature. But on pc is super boring to not do anything, even the most basic mechanics. Yeah, probably is "optional". But the game is around this mechanic, i played others mmos like this one, and it feels bad trying to play manually and super boring with auto play

If you played Lineage 2, you would already know that NcSoft has a Massive Bot Problem in their Games. Hence why they decided already in Lineage 2 to put Auto Battle in even with ingame Macros available. YET Ya'll missing out on 1 BIG POINT. Every 4th Hour is PVP Time. If you'r thinking to afk 24/7 you gonna get your Babumm handed to ya. Mostly Grinding is boring when your solo. If you group up and actually play with your Team together you will experience mucho Fun coordinating pulling Trains and AOEing lotz of mobs. Yeah Graphics was bad but Neeko already explained its due to his Bad/Average built Pc. I hope yall at least give the Game a Chance when it comes out. Some of the Twitch Chatters made fun of its Graphics but are WoW players lol .. Enough said...

It almost seems like the game was a mobile title at first then just became a pc game. Because of why would they put mobile game play into to an AAA game? It started as PC and mobile game but mobile was dropped because the systems were too much for a mobile device. This has to be the case. They just did not have time to have only pc level combat.

Autoplay is actually relatively common in Korean grinders. While it's possible they also plan/planned a mobile release as well, it's also a real possibility that autoplay was 100% intended to be a feature on all platforms.

I just got done playing it and in about an hour i just lost so much love for this game because 1st it doesn't look anything close to the trailer they showed us and 2nd who ever attacks your character then you will attack back automatically and it's so annoying and stupid and everyone fighting next to me was auto attacking and i just quickly lost that vibe and experience that i thought would be amazing but nah don't even try it trust me it's an auto play mess and disgrace.

There is a market for AFk games, I play Lineage2 ADEN NA (thats also 99% afk game) and I love ability to just macro manage character while boring grind is automatic, idk how mental one must be \to actually enjoy killing same mobs day after day, like these path of exile nolifers who just run maps all day, wtf? It looks boring as fck, and game like this sole that - they take boring grind out!

in my opinion, if we speak *just* about the combat and nothing else, nothing can even compete with blade and soul in my opinion. nothing i have tried(FFXIV, BDO, etc.) even comes close to the real-time feeling of the combat bns has. sadly its another ncsoft game so u can guess what its problems are.

Lineage 2 was one of the better pvp games back when it appeared, but this seems that this is just a bad reskin. We will surely miss PVP MMORPGs since all the garbage we get is for PVE trash carebear wow players in mind... Goodby sieges and massive open pvp, complaining snowflakes that we usually stomped and PKed have started the end of an era....

Auto-combat is already a massive point against it, but the obnoxious UI and what's sure to be significant monetization are definitely game killers.
