Those who claim to see no color or it is not different is colorblind. My life is different from a Black male, White male, and White female.

Your parents did an awesome job teaching and instilling the meaning of humanity. I’m African American and usually feel uncomfortable or wary around Caucasian and worries a lot about my kids as we live and socialize in a predominantly white suburb in Texas. Crooklyn is one of my absolute FAVORITE films! One of the best films by Spike Lee , besides Malcolm X. I'm glad you all acknowledge things from one another's perspective when it comes to being an interracial couple although I know that's not what brought you two together, and it's not all of who you are. It's the Love you feel for one another, but we have to live in reality. So awesome Cole that you acknowledge that. My husband is Caucasian so I speak from a place of commonality. Even though we never dwell on our race difference and focus on Love and what brought us together, we keep it real.
