When will the Central Line be fixed? How tube line ran into problems and what's being done about it

Transport for London has been unable to set a date for the return of normal service on the Central line despite engineers working overtime to replace worn-out motors on the ageing fleet of trains.
Problems began in November when the shortage of trains resulted in long gaps between services, causing delays and severe overcrowding, especially at central London stations.

The Northern Line trains are not a ageing fleet they are only 25 years old

Pretty old for a train tbf. The Bakerloo Line fleet, for example, was originally designed to be in service for 30 years (but is now passing 50)

Northern line were built better and I guess the engineering and tech was a bit more refined.

Thats not old for a train at all . 20 plus years is above middle age. 30 plus years may be another thing. The northern lines 95 stock are a pretty reliable fleet. ​@@isaacramsay7889
