When You Grind To Level 99 In Mario And Luigi Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey

While I wasn't playing MK7, I went and grinded in this game. In total, it took me close to 84 hours since there's no in-game clock in this one. I only raised my attack through each level up to the highest and used the best items in the game for maximum damage and recovery. So in other words, destruction!

I did this a few years ago through all of the games, even the remakes. I even ground out beans to maximize all of their status to 999. It's really satisfying to beat every final boss with just one attack haha

I'm sure I could grind for beans as well, but that would a millenia. Beans don't always spawn often.

Y'know I've never seen that animation before where if you defeat dark Bowser while fawful was out he'd come running by to heal him it's amazing how much attention the Devs put into this game

I miss the small stuff like when you break Fawfuls glasses the dark star closes it's eyes for whichever one was broken But a nice touch for all legs to hide and Fawful grabbing on the ceiling

I never noticed the dark star closing it’s eyes like that, but I haven’t played the originals since I was little, maybe tween. The only major change that I noticed that annoyed me was that they changed the mechanics for the pipe and Window special attacks. I remember how they used to go on and on forever until you eventually messed up/defeated all enemies on the screen, and how the pipe used to attack all enemies, but now only one.

The final boss doesn't even have 5 digits of HP, so that's a massive overkill. The max displayable damage in one hit is 99999 (I think).

Magic Window is dumb as hecc in the remake. In the OG game, it automatically ignores the retracted legs and only attacks the eyes and the exposed leg Also now you can't indefinitely spam it until you miss the button, it has a limited number of hits

I was actually at level 45 when I decided I wanted to grind to level 99. I would say it took around maybe 50-60 hours of in-game time. I don't know the exact amount but I think it's close to that.

If you were to use the stat calculations. I think this Bowser could 1 or 2 shot Undyne the Undying since Undyne has a LOT less defense. 99 when Dark Bowser has more than TRIPPLE the defense she does. Mario and Luigi's Falling Star would be a ONE-SHOT on her.

I was tired of grinding (in the original), so I just fought the final boss at LVL 35 (for all characters) and killed Dark Bowser with a single Broggy attack and Dark Star Core with ONE falling star

I basically did this in dream team with the farmer boots gear .. I’d grind neo bowser castle and the dream world counterparts over and over and I’d gain 2 level ups and atleast 30 of each bean 🫘 took months to do .. I wanted to beat the battle ring with as few moves as possible .. my best was 8-10 moves I think
