@Deborah -- Amen to that. For the last decade we have been stuffing the bird AND making extra in the 7 quart Crock-Pot. Now if I can just figure out how to make enough turkey gravy. Don't even think about canned turkey gravy. Tennessee and Carolina grandmothers and great aunts going back to the early 1800's will haunt you for suggesting canned gravy or a packet of powder. In my part of Russia, if you are traditional and well mannered, if given food and you return a plate or container, you always return it with more food. Just came form the butter tub\left overs ep and you using that in fridge cam like you do here and there makes me think of Good Eats. And Thanksgiving is 10 days away. Got to git the butter tubs out and eat up the Halloween party left overs so I can have room in the fridge and butter tubs for more left overs form the 7 party's I "have" to attend.

My hubby and I go to his mom's for Thanksgiving. My brother-in-law and I do all the cooking (my hubby helps if he's not working) now that my MIL has Dementia and isn't able. There are usual about 8 of us for dinner so we don't go crazy cooking to control leftovers. My aunt in the other hand, had 6-9 for dinner, but she cooks to feed 30 and then had a cow when no one wants leftovers and she had so much.

If someone ran off my pizza I'd tell them to cough up the money.
