Mee-Maw: 100% Sustainable (nothing thrown away since the Nixon years) but it's likely every meal will fill you up compared to Hello Fresh. XD Unfortunately, my in-house "Mee-Maw" service cooks still thinking there is family/small army coming over when it's just me because Mee-Maw and my Pops eat only 1/10 what they cook and expect me to eat the rest. However, when said "small army/family" arrive, I thank the Lord for reinforcements to eat BUT then they only eat 1/10 too...Darn it!

Especially as they are probably all very different. Also, thank you for not making it a Neo Confederate Platform, despite having such a warm and fuzzy culture it can be hard to find Southern Cultural things that don't get dragged into these kinds of politics. Maybe y'all are the real heritage not hate.

Memaw gets groceries and your company, and you get Memaw's cooking and company. All of my Memaws and Grannys have gone on ahead and what I would not give for just one more table full of Grandma's pot roast (or any other meal she was famous for back in the day.)

I love it but it is labor. Cooking is very physical, but also psychological. Having your mind and body working together is a plus. I have found it to be excellent therapy.😊💞

@@ashleydowney1222 We were asked to park to wait for our drinks, they needed to make the shakes and didn't want to back up the drive-through line so we did so. After waiting almost 15 minutes for the drinks, I had to go inside where they actually started on them after I asked where they were. All this time our food and fries were getting cold since we were taking them home. Then, to top it off, when we got home, we discovered that we only got one of the two chicken noodle soup bowls that we had ordered. I checked the receipt and we were charged for two, but only received one. Have had no other problems in the past, this time was one of the worst fails for takeout food we've had.

I’m sure they would have promptly replaced it with fresh hot stuff right them, & probably given you free stuff or something! They’re really good about that when something happens. Sounds like they just had someone new working. I’ve ALWAYS had good service & good food from them!

I remember him saying "Have you called yo mama today? I sure wish I could call mine". It was poignant. They quit airing the commercial after he died. I've heard it's in the Bear Bryant museum. The coach encouraged his players to call their mamas & maintain the family relationship.
"Supper" sounds so good to my ears! I grew up eating supper in the evening. Dinner was on Sundays and holidays in the afternoon.

I have never heard of cornbread dressing before so I had to look it up. Lo and behold I was absolutely blown away. I’m trying it this year!

You can make twice as much and leave out the chicken broth so you have a ready made kit for the freezer!
