Yo runner I forgot to post this but Roanoke gamings take on the wall guardians does have some merit. In the martyr book the first necromorph the doctor injected himself with the "infection" made by the marker and was actively mutating without being dead. Also the brain being kept "alive" wouldn't be that farfetched as the corruption would just need to supply oxygen however to fit as a necromorph technically the creature would be dead but with a conscious prisoner with no control inside. Perhaps it could be something more similar to the mummy necros from 3 where the infection started while alive and took more time while being mostly conscious.

Similar situation with me this past week. I played through the Dead Space remake about a dozen times when it released last year. For about a month, I was hooked. Then I naturally had my fill and moved onto other games (such as the RE4 remake). But last week, I felt an 'itch' deep inside of me. The Marker was calling out to me once again. I re-downloaded Dead Space Remake on Steam, along with the original Dead Space 1 and 2. And now I'm hooked into Dead Space once again. God I love this fucking franchise so much!

As much as I love that there are channels out there mainly focused on Dead Space such as yours, if you wanna do some other stoof that's perfectly fine. Especially since the release of Dead Space Remake has insured that us fans won't go hungry for Dead Space content for at least a couple more years.
