Awww man, what a beautiful story with Millie. Geez, that put a lump in my throat. The incredible message of "talk to people about it" is not stressed enough. What a great man. I hope he's okay.

That photo with Millie and the coffee and donut. Looks like she is one very happy dog.

I saw Greg on the road today. He rode past me in Malmsbury and I followed him onto Taradale. Even though I had previously watched this vid I didn’t immediately make the connection. When I got home I searched the net for Interceptors with sidecars. Watched the vid again and confirmed the sighting. Wish I’d stopped when he pulled over. Would have loved to have said g’day!

Beautiful sidecar... I had one on my Classic 500.. it was a ton of fun but it is VERY different from riding a bike. The learning curve is steep and hazardous. I was sure the damned thing was trying to kill me for the first 2 months. Once I learned how to get it around corners safely it became a real joy. My brother's dog "Harry" loved riding in it. I no longer have that rig and I truly regret selling it (financial hardship forced the sale) I've got another classic and an Interceptor 650 and this video is inspiring.

Glad you like the video Steve. I've done a couple of rides with a sidecar and it is steep learning curve.

Very cool to see some coverage on a sidecar. I've had one for 34 years, off and on the same bike, a 1988 Lowrider. I still ride it, but you just don't see that many sidecars on the road. I'm in Blackburn Melbourne. Bit late to this video, and I hope Greg is okay, and to see him on the roads in Victoria.

Thanks for watching. A sidecar on a low rider, I don’t think you’d see many of those on the roads. Unfortunately Greg’s health has taken a turn for the worse and his riding days are behind him, but he is still an avid follower of the channel and we do have a chat every few weeks.

What a ripper bloke! I hope that he is doing alright. Only found your channel as I'm seriously thinking about giving up my KTM Super Duke R for a RE Sidecar. Had the itch all my life for one and after watching this, I reckon I'll make it happen.

Greg’s doing OK and happy to say, back on the bike. I’m also getting a feeling that I want a sidecar, would love an old r series BMW with a steib, but also no room in the garage. I might have to look for a bigger garage. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment, an RE and sidecar is certainly going to be a different beast to the Super Duke R

Hello, I found it an interesting video as I too have an Interceptor, mine being hooked up to a Watsonian Grand Prix sidecar. Greg was talking about the wear on his rear tyre and fitting K 28 tyres, can you tell me if he fitted them to the standard Interceptor wheel rims?
@BikerTorque2 жыл бұрын
Yes I believe he did. Glad you enjoyed the video
@lindsaysampford31902 жыл бұрын
Thanks to this video and on Greg’s recommendation, I fitted Heidenau K28s to my Interceptor outfit. They have greatly improved the handling. No rear wheel hop on roundabouts and sharp right hand turn, more positive steering and the sidecar passenger reports a smoother ride! Thanks again from the UK.
@BikerTorque2 жыл бұрын

I owned a 98 Ural and have ridden a continental GT with a Cozy sidecar. The Ural handled much much better than the continental. It could have been the way the continental was set up. How do you feel the interceptor handles aside car compared to the Ural?.
