***** To be honest, I can't really pinpoint how I managed to overcome it entirely... But I think one of the biggest factors that helped me was when I liked this guy a lot when I was in middle school. It was super awkward between us for a long time because we knew we liked each other but both of us were just so scared to approach each other hahaha. But a friend of ours helped us talk to each other and the more I got to know him him, I became more comfortable and understanding that there's nothing to feel anxious of. We became best friends and we're still together to this very day. Over time, I managed to step out of my comfort zone bit by bit and began to even make friends with his friends which I never even dreamed I could do. So my suggestion is try to get to know just one of them first? Probably better if it's a friend through one of your friends or family etc

I worked at an office with only guys and I am so awkward around them, and one of the guys was having a baby, and so he had a baby shower on the day I wasn't working. But as I walked in the hallway to go back home, one of the guys Mario, nice guy Mario, invited me to have some pizza with them. Mind you I don't really talk to them like that when I'm at work so when I walked in not on my shift, they looked at me like I was wearing nothing but a thong. I got a slice of pizza and stood there awkwardly and they got silent when I was in there. I wanted to crawl in a hole and die.
