yep, ended up getting a mod that allows you to push people, and proceeded to push one of the friends i was playing with into a room full of spider webs and closed the door on them, they died like 25 seconds later because the spider was below the room and had to go up to it, but it was hilarious to the rest of us, especially since all four of us had seen the webs but that friend was the first to open the door

Saddest part is that is actually true IRL. Employee safety used to be extremely bad in most industries, which caused a lot of deadly accidents. Some companies went out of their way to fix these issues themselves, but you can bet your ass more of them wouldn't have done a thing if they weren't forced.

Played the game for the first time last night with a friend. I got ghost girl first game, and the next 5 moons (or whatever, maps) we played we got the neck snapper from behind. Granted we only got wiped once but still, she couldn't stop telling me how unbelievably bad my luck is with monster spawns

@@atomic747 I mean, unless you've been living under a mountain then amazing quality games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6, Armoured Core 6, Hi-Fi Rush, Spider-Man 2, Pikmin 4, Final Fantasy XVI, Lies of P, Dead Space Remake, Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG Remake and our Lord and Saviour, Pizza Tower, have also came out this year. There's likely many more I'm missing, best gaming year since 2017 easily, arguably better!

Even the description of the game on steam summarizes the game in a nutshell Having friends in *Lethal Company* is a definite must have in order to have tons of fun (Being Alone feels scary at first, it becomes boring after awhile with nobody around)

From watching streamers, I've discovered the most common source of death is just... putting way too much trust in your team mates. A coilhead will show up and someone will be like "I'm watching him, I'm watching him, go go go!" Next thing you know, you hear a cracking sound and really aggressive footsteps.

I spent a few days as the Computer Guy until I learned enough of the game to pick up a shovel and walk into the facility (turns out a lot of threats are ankle biters and killable!).
