It’s like you always say Craig: Anxiety makes you selfish and unable to see the other person’s perspective. Being so afraid of losing someone that you lose sight of how your own anxious behavior affects them is a sure-fire way to sabotage a relationship!!

I don’t really see that being the major issue in this scenario. Maybe don’t be so obvious about exploring options and you won’t trigger your partners’ anxiety. Ever think of that?

@@spedhead218 I’m an anxiously attached person and am trying to work on it. I also was dumped. I’m not the person exploring options. What I wrote is a common thing for Craig and Margaret to mention in their videos. While I think all partners should be empathetic to each others’ needs, we are responsible for bettering ourselves to be the best partners possible.

I have insecurities but I put myself in others shoes to how they would feel etc .. People like us care to much the. Attachment is great due to alot of times abandoned issues from childhood

After the breakup, I watched all of the star wars movies, and man, I saw myself in Anakin although I have never before. It scared me. In the end Vader makes the sacrifice to finally put an end to the terror of Palpatine's arrogance and endless hunger for power. Makes me wonder... All of these characters have a representation inside of each one of us. Don't let Palpatine take control over you, see the light. May the force be with you, always

I needed this video more than ever. Had constant nightmares of losing my partner and was scared of losing her (still am) and it resulted in a lot of self sabotage. To the point where I pushed her away, hurt her after we found out about something. Now I’m doing what I can to try to repair things and do the personal work. I’ve been beating myself up every time my partner shuts down and deactivates. Thanks Craig, keep doing what you’re doing

Hi Victoria and Craig. Recently out of a 2 year relationship. Relationship really meant a lot to me and it broke down because of her wanting to move out and start renting a place together but I wanted to stay at home and continue saving for a deposit on a mortgage.. Tried so hard to explain but to no avail. The comment goes in to more detail but I wanted to let you know that I have been watching your videos on almost repeat to try stay motivated and not break no contact. It's very hard

I hope the guy didn't get back with her, she probably still has feelings for her Ex ( son's dad) I truly feel for the guy.

Dear Coaches, Could you talk about allowing ourselves to consider that our upbringing wasn't as perfect as we thought? I think many people resist to "unlearn" bad patterns from childhood because the first step is admitting that our parents didn't do as great job as we thought in first place. Doing so produces a sense of guilt in us, like we are ungrateful children for even doubting the quality of their care. This guilt poses a mental lock that prevents us from peeling off layers of unhealthy behavior, and build a new, healthier pattern for the future. Same as in a romantic relationship only the partners really know how it felt from the inside, only a child knows how the relationship with their parents really felt like.

And her behavior triggered this new guy and then she gets mad and more mad at this guy. It must be such a nice gift to be able to weigh your options and drop people when it’s convenient for you.

yeah... this girl seems kinda sketch.. my first thought early on was... ok how many other guys are helping her with the bills? and yeah... if she's connecting with guys like that on social media... it raises a lot of concern.. especially if she so easily expects money from him in a relationship that is somewhat new. honestly I doubt she would come back. as a woman from a poor background myself.... I hate to admit I have had thoughts like this about guys & who could provide for me more...but I've grown past that.. and thank god I don't have kids. anyway... this guy deserves better. what was she providing for him? we never did hear that. relationships need to be 2 ways..

I been in relationships with 3 single moms , and is very difficult, because after their marriage they taste party and boyfriends and and is very hard to settle down again for them, not to mention you have to be involved with someone else’s kids problems as they are always priority, Guys think twice with single mothers.

there is usually a woman that drops whoever was the champion and goes with the new champion in wrestling, boxing and most sports.... isn't that the way it is. then the girls wonder why they are so unhappy with the assholes that they are with... Charlie Chaplin's movie the kid.. a rich woman doesn't want to care for her child so she leaves the kid in front of a poor man's house.. The poor man is barely surviving yet he feeds himself and the child very well.. eventually the rich woman changes her mind and wants her kid.. I'm sure Margaret has seen those kind of cases many many times over as she worked in the child welfare system

I strongly disagree with this womans asessment, everything should be for the kids, mother, father, etc etc. Not 1 thing mentioned for this new dude coming in.Not 1 thing! Stay away from these women and situations, dont sleep with these women, dont get attached to mother or kids, at the very MOST, help her as a brother, move a couch etc. Total simping here.
