Context for the unaware: There was a stream that she and a few others did wherein they played Splatoon and made it such that the opponents' ink is chroma keyed to show an AV (mosaic-ed, obviously) Basically it was a "contest" to see if you can shoot fast enough so that there is as minimal AV on-screen as possible. KZbin and Nintendo clearly did not take this lightly since this obviously goes against their guidelines. She and the others involved got a lot of hate for it. To be clear, what they did was VERY dumb. The thing is, while most rational people would think "Hey, it was a small group of people doing something dumb and the fault lies with them" a lot of people took it as action dragging the "VTuber" community down as a whole (I think a fair bit of this has to do with how Japan has a very "hammer the nail that sticks out mentality" to be honest)
