I'm a 23year old INFJ female in Africa married to an INTJ and the struggle is real even though I know he loves me despite the coldness... Can you please please.... Give me advice on how to handle things with my partner, and I Know there's more people in love or married to the so called wrong type, I've also seen couples that are not compatible together for more than 30 years. Can you make a video series on how people found with the wrong types can cope and try to understand their differences and live in peace or something like that... Pssshhhhhh..... I guess you understand what I'm really trying to say. This would be a major blessing for me...🙏

Or if i don't tell EVERY SINGLE THING that happens in my life like my sister always did to them, they'd say "why did you "never" share ur story with us? You don't trust us enough?" It always leads to misunderstanding.. Maybe Its because they all act the same so it's like i'm the weird one yk, but when they asked me why am i always acting like that, and i said it's because i'm an introvert, they be like "NO we're all extroverts iT's OkAy" like bru- i don't find anything wrong with being an introvert.

@@minetendo33 it is a part of the personality. it is quite rare for someone to change their personality enough to switch between introvert and extrovert. It is also not nececary to do so. You need a likeminded extravert to “cover you” - and vice versa. Like if we had the same boss and that same situation, I’d bring on the fast ENTP logic bombardment and once they get my message that such pressure is not cool, maybe unethical and possibly expensively illegal, because we should except people as they are not pressure them into doing things that are not strictly part of their job... Worn down, the boss never asks EITHER one of us to socialize with anyone at work every again, and we might even be disinvited from stuff. Score! (Just because I’m a little bit extroverted doesn’t mean I wanna engage with or like people indiscriminately. Sometimes theses videos make me doubt the whole thing. ;))

In a college and career success class I took, we talked about personality traits, and I, an INFP, was very talkative and constantly raising my hand to answer questions and be a part of the discussion. When we talked about introversion, I brought up my introvertedness, and the other classmates immediately shot me down, saying there was no way I was introverted because I was too talkative and not shy. Which made me point out that introversion literally does not mean quiet and shy, and has to do with energy and where it comes from. To this day, people still are shocked to find out I am an introvert simply because I am chatty. INTROVERSION DOES NOT MEAN MUTE PEOPLE!!!!

I apparently gave death glares a lot hell i even told teachers "I am at school to learn not make friends that why it called school as there is no time to make friends" Hell one time at 5th grade math class there was a thing we had to write to develop our critical thinking but since there was so much possibilities my brain just shutdown from being overloaded as the assignment was to write "What would you do if you became class president?" Like the teachers kept telling me just write down what i would do and i said in a agitated voice "I DON'T KNOW JUST TELL ME WHAT TO DO" the entire class time i never did that paper i just sat there staring at it hand shaking. Obviously they called my parents after and my mom said "When he is at school he is your problem" As you know dealing with a autistic kid is hell enough as they had little choice in their life as a kid in the first place so give them a choice like that with no wrong answers with too much possibility and oh boy watch them go into a fucking fetal position on the ground or fucking pass out if they are not just staring into space paralyzed with options

Spending most of my time alone does not mean I'm lonely, it's just that I'm more comfortable and relax this way but my mom won't listen and told me that I was just being delusional about myself. Sometimes she also compares me to some other teens from our church telling me how I act differently from them cuz I was always at the corner or immediately go straight home while they spend talking to each other everytime the service ends so I just answered "...mmyeah" and walk out, she won't understand anyways. When you're an extrovert but you also pick apart even the most casual conversation after the fact until you're riddled with self doubt and anxiety, however you still get energy from being around people so you seek out opportunities to perpetuate your sisifis-like torment. Unendingly.

Story of my lifea It's worse if you're an introverted actor, host and content creator like I am. So tired of explaining introversion to people who don't understand what being an introvert ACTUALLY is because they're too lazy to do a basic Google search. Thanks for another great video, Frank James! - An INFP

I hate it when people treat introversion like it's a mental disorder or something that should be changed, that extroversion being recognized as the normal portion is a good thing or that introverts are narcissists full of themselves who are "just too good to talk to us". That's just wrong and really judgmental. It's no disorder, it's no illness, it's just a regular trait. It's a completely normal thing. And if you think introverts should talk more just because, then we think you should learn to respect others' appreciation for silence and/or loneliness. Introverts aren't being silent because they hate you or think they're superior, and even then by that logic then you would be the one thinking *you're* superior because people "have to talk to you". It doesn't have anything to do with respect, because when we're not talking to you we don't say inside our minds "lmaooo what a loser i shouldnt talk to him". We just don't want to talk, for various reasons. People may not understand and appreciate social norms, or just be uncomfortable talking to others. It's not hard to accept people who are slightly different than you, so please do it.

Honestly it's this that I hate, I'm a psychology student at the moment and I have been set since I started studying on doing my final year dissertation about how jobs and things in adult life favour extroversion and extroverts as the normal and gear things to work well for them and be something introverts have to get over since that's just how things work.

Exactly, back then many people said to me that I need to be cure (something like that). That time, I tried to be extroverted but it turned out that I got more anxious about it because I really hate having a long conversation with people. So yeah,I really really hate it. Swear.

The good thing about growing older as an introvert is that you actually start to let these truths slip out in conversation and don't have the energy to care about it anymore.

I personally "love" when people say "So, you're an Anti-social person!" or when some friends/family assume that you do nothing all day long, so they make appointments for you to go do stuff for them, because guess wha, it's really hard for an INFP to say "No!". Earlier today I had an appointment at the dentist and I had to cancel it because my sister called me to go pick some stuff that she left in my name...
