​​@@jupiter0103 its kinda sad the answer to every problem by glazers is to just "learn to no hit run a boss" as if that's the only reason why people get these games instead of the plethora of other reasons that make them enjoyable that poor boss design like this inhibits. there's also a lot of people who think parrying him to death is the only way you should play the game and people who haven't even touched eldenring just watch streamers play and say it's a good boss. the people who don't like learning boss fights are the ones googling great shield builds and first trying him. it's a circus of keyboard warriors when you think about it.

Important to say that for those struggling with the boss, i genuinely dont think this fighting style is that difficult to use to win. If you arent used to parrying it may take a couple hours of practicing to get comfortable with it, but after that, radahn's parryable attacks are actually his easiest to exploit weak point. Like they are truely the most free windows to get damage in. I dont think im great at the game, but after 2 days of practicing w/ a similar set up for a casual 1-2 hours per day I was able to win on the 3rd day. The key is just not being too pressed to beat the boss immediately, not letting yourself get too frustrated, and accepting you will have to learn a little bit before going for the win

phase 2 is just too chaotic of a boss fight. Overtuned and a mess. It actually doesn't feel like a sense of joy after beating him, just a relief. Phase 1 is good.

For people that struggle i have killed Radahn in multiple ways. The easiest by FAR for me was bloodfiend arm. Get lord of blood and mask obviously, plus axe talisman, rakshasha set, dragoncrest to offset rakshasha and either the holy negation talisman or blade of mercy cause you will poise break him at least twice. For physick i had the bubble tear and the charge attack one but i pop it either after the first explosion or when he meteors for added safety. I didnt even have royal knight's resolve or rakshasha on my build but its better to have them. I was scadu 18 so go on to 20. Just charge R2 or simple r2 after each major opening, dont be too afraid to trade your dmg is massive and use jump attacks for the smaller openings. Good luck everyone this took me a singular try to pull off i hope it helps.

Just did the same thing with Malenia. Naked except for Okina's mask, just frost potting her waterfowls and parrying and riposting with misericorde. Second phase, I called down Tiche and ganked her with Reduvia, still parrying and riposting whenever I could. Easily one of the most satisfying boss kills I have ever gotten, right up there with Plesioth from monster hunter generations and Lavios's final form in Chronotrigger. Absolutely wonderful.

A lot of her attacks are pretty easy to parry, dodge, or punish with a few light attacks, but if you don't want to spend time learning how to dodge waterfowl I'd recommend switching your misericorde to a bleed affinity so you can frost pot her any time and interrupt it. Besides that, happy parrying.

Honestly Consort Radahn without parrying has been a nightmare - he varies so much the attacks, especially the second phase is terrible... while with parrying he seems much more predictable. I'm sorry but after like 50 tries i might have to join the parry merchants :( it's kinda sad though, I've tried my own way, moonveil and/dex build, but it's just too hard it seems

The build is nothing special that's why I didn't put it anywhere. Just used the buckler for the parry and the miséricorde+10 for the repost. The talismans helped (Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Lord of Blood's Exultation, Dagger Talisman). Didn't use any flask or incantation or miracles. The leg piece is Freyja's Grieves (purely for fashion). Stats : vigor 60 | end 30 | str 22 | dex 73 | arc 45 | scadutree blessing lvl 16

@@chuknukbubs6322 nope nothing like that. The rotten winged insignia raises damage for successive attacks. Lord of blood's exultation increases attack power by 20% when there's blood loss and the dagger talisman increases the critical damage by 17%. That's all I used. The Miséricorde itself has the highest critical damage but no other effects.
