I know some localizers who actually do a good job in conveying the original intent, it's always these "newer gen" of professionals(lol) that makes a bad impression on the subject. Some good OFFICIAL localizer works I know are the LN for FLFO, Death March, Slow Life Blacksmith, and Manga for Leadale among other stuff.

so, if i understand correctly, on one of the more recent chapters Midoriya loses his quirk, and someone made a VERY convincing fanart of a comic page, similar enough to convince a lot of people it was official, that instead of staying a hero, he became a fast food employee. So when they dropped that ad, a lot of people tought that it was actually canon, but it was just an insane coincidence that both the fanart and the ad dropped around at the same time

I've seen a fair bit of Ranma 1/2, even have the first 4 DVDs of season 1, all season 3 and the 2 movies. Missing disc 5 of season 1 because I got it years ago because a DVD rental store was closing down and liquidating all their stock and season 1 just happened to be there, minus disc 5. Also got volume 1 of the Clamp Cardcaptor dub there too

And to top it off whenever Ranma defends himself Akane always tries to make HIM the villain for defending himself. Not to mention they had a perfectly good opportunity to get rid of Happosai, and AKANE of all people says "You can't just off him!" As if he wasn't causing problems for the whole family from the get-go, to the point authorities got involved.

Ranma was such a fun show, where anything you can think of could be a "martial art". Ranma is also one the few gender-swap characters that would openly abuse his gift rather then be embarrassed about it. Especially if it meant getting to show off in some sort of competition.
