My two girl kids were also the bullies, it is a very sad/hopeless situation, I want my kids to be confident but it was twisted and be used to bully others. The kids use the victim me mentality. I need therapy to help me deal with my youngest now 12, before she hurt someone 😔

Your comment moved me, and, even if they say adolescents are hard to deal with, there is hope that, acting sincerely well, chosing to do what you (and we all) can do best in the moment, creating little-by-little the safe place called home for the kids, saying what we really feel in our heart, listening and explaining with patience every time, caring for the kids' feelings and projects, in time, your family will reach love and happiness. I’m the same I was the bullied when I was a kid between daycare, school and cyberbullying. And now I’m a bully and I bully others because the pain I felt back when I was a kid and everyone already damaged me I have no friends I isolate myself and I’m at risk of depression im to scared to stay home alone with my dog because of my anxiety and I hate myself because I grew up to be a bully.

The title is misleading, I'd appreciate specific things to do to help my kid, that's a bully at school.

But what if you’re child is bullying you, the parent?

So what's the answer? Years of therapy and don't correct the behavior but walk with them ?

Right?! Literally how?

Don't be so critical. Be a better listener. Give silent love. Its not a literal walk, it's walking beside your kids metaphorically, instead of pulling them with a leash. @@katiepetersen7489

If you, as a parent, find out that your child is a bully, it is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that you, as a parent, get mental health help. There is strong research demonstrating that the best way to improve a child's mental health is for both parents to get mental health treatment if they need it. It is important to get the bully mental health treatment, but treatment is much less likely to be successful when parents mental health needs are not addressed.

Who can afford therapy?

So, educate yourself, do some reading, be open and engaging with your kid (and the school). Get yourself and your kid into therapy. Man, YT's selection of videos on this topic SUCKS. My opening sentence.... everyone already knows this. And we knew it without having to listen to this strung out Tennessee mom. Come on, internet.

This mom is a fake person, not in touch with her emotions that's why her child was rhe same way
