Rebounds are only used for once’s selfish needs and just another reason to fill their own selfish needs emotionally mentally and yes sexually which makes them feel good about their selves and never having to deal with what ever they did to another. That was just me. Things were great until his ex came back in the picture then he treated me like garbage to get back with her. He also didn't tell me he was back to communicating with her while he was with me. It was great when I found out. Been crying the last week and a half wondering if I can trust someone again.

This is why I have no animosity toward the girl that he cheated on me for, at the end of the day she is just the next victim and you couldn't pay me to go through what I know is coming her way. I would warn her but she wouldn't believe me, I didn't take my BFF seriously when she said something was off.

My ex literally broke up while he was emotionally shutdown on the phone, could barely talk about it, two months later was already in another relationship, and five months after that was engaged. His son was also killed during that time. Talk about someone running from their pain and distracting himself! He still hasn’t healed from his divorce before me-he doesn’t want to take responsibility for anything and just avoids and runs. How could this new relationship possibly work out?!

Just gotta let it go. If they are able to move on it's that much better for you. Especially if they broke it off with you. Yes you'll have the warm and fuzzy memories of what did happen but also remember that the trials and tribulations you went through are no longer yours to bear and now belong to whoever they are with. Just focus on healing and be better and do better. You'll be fine and someone better will come around eventually.
