I grew up in Assembly of God/Pentecostal churches. Dad was in Southern Gospel groups. Our Pastors were usually former bandmates of his and he was always on the praise and worship team. This was WAY too real to me 😄

When I was a kid we purchased a pack of pencil erasers and on the barcode in the back it had a 5 or 6 digit number ending with 666. So my mom made us pray over it and cross it out

@@LouisJohnsonComedy I was fortunate enough to see Mighty Clouds of Joy for free, performing in the lobby of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame one MLK Day. They were AMAZING, and I was blessed. Blessed to be far enough away that I wasn't whomped upside the head with a joyfully flailing hand. I was where God wanted me to be that day 😁
