Some brands you can see from the back if you take off the watch. When you can see the gears while wearing the watch it’s called a skeleton dial I believe. Rolex makes good watches but are far from being the best. To my knowledge, they don’t have an in house tourbillon, perpetual calendar, or a guilloche dial done by hand. If you ask a random person on the street what a Rolex is they’d likely be able to tell you it's a watch but probably not so much for other brands.

Rolex glass breaks easily, because is not sapphire glass, maybe is synthetic. My wife's rolex was broken by daughter once. She took it and played with it and dropped to the floor..

No. Sapphire glass is more scratch resistant but more fragile when dropped. Synthetic or resin glass should be more durable, even more so with arcrylic.

Even if you don't do an apprenticeship, you can still learn how a watch works and how to work on it, it would be much harder, but you can still do it. This is the second watch repair channel I've seen, and one thing stood out to me from both. Why use finger condoms instead of full gloves? I guess most other places where you see gloves, like food preparation or medical practice, do need full coverage of the hand, whereas watchmaking doesn't, so are the condoms just more comfortable/convenient?

another reason could be that when you wear a full glove, there may be some space/air in the very end of the finger tips. So if you just wear the condoms on your fingers it will fit tightly around the tip of your fingers without the air and space.

As a rule of thumb that I would follow is if the sapphire breaks, immediately stop the watch as it’s very possible that pieces can get into the movement, especially because of the date window. Sapphire breaks are very common when dropping onto tile as well in case anyone is curious

Waste of money, plus you're just inviting someone to steal it. Depending on the person, they might be the reason you or someone close to you will take a premature nap, forever. So in short, stuff like this just increases your likelihood of dying. Same when you ride an expensive car or wear costly jewelry. To balance it out, you have to learn close combat, knife combat, handgun wielding & then concealed carry those last 2 where ever you go. Security won't count. None of them will risk their lives to save you if the time comes. You're just a loser in their eyes. Pampered with daddy's money. Rare few these days have actually earned their own success. Now those, depending how they act towards other, might be worth getting hurt for.
