Omg my husband and I did that for our honeymoon last year!! We started at our old home in Southern CA all the way up to Northern CA. The roadtrip part was sooo fun because it's so freeing to be able to stop at a bunch of places and see new things. SO fun!! Xo

the best advice that I got before I got married was have a little honeymoon and then save up and have an even better "honeymoon" for your 10 year anniversary. Which is what I did. We a little relaxing after our wedding and then for our 10 year, we spent a WEEK in Hawaii. So worth it

It's probably too late but if you find yourself in norther California again in the future I suggest camping at Patricks point. It's a really neat campground just minutes away from Trinidad State beach.

There is so much fun stuff to do in northern CA. Napa is great. If you fly into SF check out the Marin headlands, John Muir redwood Forrest on your way to wine country. Also if you spend a night in SF, Sweet Maple has the BEST breakfast. The millionaires bacon is to die for.

If you're planning on going to San Francisco for your honeymoon road trip, make sure to rent a car with a trunk, and to keep your valuables (or anything really, even a regular suitcase) in the trunk and not in plain sight! SF is notorious for car break-ins, and sadly, tourists fall victim all the time. And be sure to visit the pier at Chrissy Field, you can take great pictures with the Golden Gate as a backdrop from there! Point Reyes (a "national seashore," basically like a national park just north of SF) also has great hiking and beautiful Pacific views! And definitely try the Mexican food (Pancho Villa Taqueria!) in SF, unbeatable!

when you come to the bay area, theres SO MANY beautiful things you can do here. id really recommend the henry cowell redwoods and muir woods! the wave organ in sf is really cool, and so is the botanical garden in golden gate park. capitola is an extremely beautiful little town by the beach, but you cant go wrong with anything in the monterey bay. if you happen to be driving through or around the area the niles district in fremont is a really cute and historic little town, its where charlie chaplin originally filmed some of his stuff and theres plenty of cute little antique stores. (if i think of anything else that could be cool for you ill reply to this 💘)

You guys probably already went on your honeymoon but next time you guys go to SF you should check out Palace of the Fine Arts! It's so beautiful there and completely free to walk around. Plus, it's right by the golden gate bridge!

im a few days late but maybe youll get this. just a few recommendation for the west coast but you still need to do a little more research cause idk the names and specific locations. ok! north of sf is napa (theres a wine a safari tour around there) lil further north russian river (brewery and other stuff) lil more is mini red wood forest near ukiah (next to it is a really cool wood carving shop/cafa/deli) and to keep this short, south of sf is santa cruz and monterey park/ aqarium

Hey! So i LOVE your guys channel, and i am from southern california! San Francisco is a beautiful placa with a lot of unique foods and ethnicities. If you are heading that way, napa valley is an hour drive from San Fran and is beautiful wine country! might be something to look into! and congratulations!!!

If you end up going to San Francisco, drive down hwy 1 to Carmel and big Sur (can't miss bug Sur!) Check to see if ventana is open if you do , it's a gorgeous spot
