Born in ‘79 I got my first car when i was 15yo. A 1964 Vauxhall viva deluxe. Deluxe because the rear windows would pop out about an inch like an old sunroof. That’s all. The heater was a flap that opened directly into the engine bay, no fan, just exhaust gases. But it was the best car in the world. The entire front seats flipped forward with a hinge at the front. I made more ‘friends’ in the back seat of that car than any other. Deluxe.

Sometimes I still wonder what happened with my moms old 1996 Honda Accord DX 25th Anniversary Edition and my dads old 2000 Nissan Maxima SE and the 2007 Infiniti G35x after they got rid of those cars. I hope all three are still driving.

I always regret not writing down the VIN for my 2008 Chevy Silverado so that I could check and see where she's gone after I had to trade her in to get something more fuel efficient. I drove that truck for almost 10 years and it was the most comfortable vehicle I've owned ever. Really miss her and hope she didnt get wrecked or left to rot.

I'm in Indiana and I'd love to know where the RS2 ended up!! ...looking into it, a blue RS2 Avant was sold at Auburn in Sept 2020, and Doug's video announcing he bought it was in Dec 2020. I only know when my first brand new car is because Valvoline never changed the email address associated with the VIN of the car and the guy still uses Valvoline for oil changes. 2008 Ford Focus S (with manual locks and windows and no cruise control) lives in Las Vegas, NV at 150,773 miles. I sold it in 2012 in the Boston area with around 70k.

I sold my 2003 Ford ZX2 in 2015 and saw it randomly parked on the street a few years later in a neighborhood next to a disc golf course I was playing on. It had rear bumper damage, but was otherwise still intact to how I had it. I checked on craigslist for giggles and it was listed for sale. The pictures showed it had a few things removed from what I had put in it. I checked the carfax on it a couple years ago and it had gone dark not long after I had last seen it. No junk title, no registrations, no repairs. I suspect it may have ended up on one of those car trains to South America which is a bit sad. I more recently sold my 2016 Ford Fiesta ST to someone in North Carolina so I'll be surprised if I see that car again.

I lived in PA but drove an hour+ down to a dealership in DE to trade my Hummer H3 for a Yukon. A few years later, I saw my exact H3 (VIN confirmed) in my hometown. I connected with the new owner and she drove from my town down to DE to buy it.

What a great topic! I won a Fiat 500 in a raffle so I sold my Pontiac G5 daily driver to my sister, who sold it a few years later, and I saw it at the grocery store. I waited for them to come out and introduced myself and they had 0 cares 😅. That Fiat went to CarMax in NH and ended up in Virginia. I sold a Fiero through the comments section on Jalopnik to a guy in NY. Not sure where most of my old cars are though!
