Background vocals on point all the way through and same for the dancers who weren’t doing too much or too little. This was during a time when you had to practice and perfect your craft then show up with certain standards of excellence. The entire stage production and show had to be cohesive. This was interesting. I was in Europe at the time all this stuff was aired. Mariah had the previous year broke through. I was in America when Vision Of Love broke through. I'm happy that she didn't let the politics of colorism get to her mentally to continue her marvelous journey. She came out in a time when they were looking for another Diva in music. Whitney and Mariah as probably the last of them all. But, that maybe challenged. We have so many . Mary J. Blige , Beyonce of course, Jennifer Hudson. What constitutes a Diva.
