Hi pastor Guzik. Thank you for cracking open the bible so that we can understand it so much better. Especially in context. My question is. I had a friend who goes to a local church and they had a pastor there. She was talking about time. Past. Now and future. And that we are in now. ( i looked her up on KZbin) anyway she said a bunch of stuff that sounded really great and " godly". But I had this feeling that this teaching is not from God. At the very end of a 9 minute snippet. She said let god be god and us, us. So if god is god and we are spirit. Then we are god. And I got a terrible shock through me. What is this woman saying? It sounds very new agey. I really do not know how to say to her that what this woman was preaching is not biblical. She really loves the Lord. But listening to such heresy is really dangerous.

Simple fix. Genesis 1:26. "Let us make mankind in our own image and our own likeness". First off, he calls us mankind. He doesn't say "Let us duplicate ourselves and make other God's". Secondly, in His image and likeness mean we ARE like Him. He is our Father and we are His children. I am made in my mother's likeness, but I am NOT and could NEVER BE my mother. I am myself, but I am LIKE her. We are God's image and likeness. We are SPIRIT BEINGS because God, is also a spirit being. Also, when we believe in Him, the Bible says He will come LIVE inside of our hearts and Acts says that His Spirit ministers to OUR spirit. It does not say that when we believe, we BECOME God. This herein lies the devil's problem. He wants to BE God. Also be cautious. Just because someone claims to love the Lord does not make them Godly. You are right to ask questions, as the Bible does say to "test all things". Be weary. The enemy has been on this Earth longer than us and is MORE than capable of putting on a facade that appears humble, righteous, and honest.

The only issue I have is that Cain’s wife is not his sister or any other sibling! She is from the 6-day creation of Genesis 1:26 to 1:31. There seems to be good evidence and a strong consensus that the man was a "God fearing" Gentile. He didn't convert to Judaism, but he feared and respected the God of Israel, and he saw something extraordinary in the life of Jesus.

I don't remember if I've asked this one so if I have please forgive me. I'll look in past videos. But is I haven't, is the "Rose of Sharon" one of the names of Jesus in the OT? Someone mentioned that to me not too long ago but I'd never heard of that before. Then I "just so happened" to read the scripture that mentions it and then I believe I heard an old song that mentions it. Weird, huh!

Rose of Sharon is just a flower and it's brought up to symbolize beauty. Jesus, is nowhere in the earth for the entire Old Testament. He is called many things when the prophets prophesy His coming, then again when they talk about His return in the end time. But throughout the whole old testament, He is in Hoeaven with the Father.

But it says after Adam begot Seth, he had other sons and daughters. But Cain already had a wife before Seth was born. Where did that wife come from if Adam didn't have other kids until after he had Seth?

We need to understand that only some of the children of Adam and Eve are mentioned. For some reason, God did not think it necessary to list all of the children of Adam and Eve.

I’ve wondered this myself, I totally believe in the bible and am aware many bible translators have chosen to alter the bible to suite what they want from the religion they choose , I believe Satan has caused many false claims, but the time when Jesus returns we will k iw the truth , and Satan will be put out of commission and not have any power fir one thousand years to cause any more evil ruin to the earth, when he has a brief time to do what he can to cause ruin and evil but only force bemrief moment then he will be killed forever never to be able to hurt God, or Jesus or any more human suffering ever again for eternity, these will be the days of the most perfect snd no more illness nor death, no more abuse f, due to bible abuse, we cannot verify everything from the bible, most is truth, enough for us to have a link to our creator, and what is truth if we study the bible we can put scriptures in context enough to know God enough to have a good idea of who he is and his loving personality, Satan has done his best to make Jesus and his father seen cruel but we must follow the written word in context, to know God and his son the best we can always knowing we are not perfect, and realize that Jesus suffered for us to be forgiven and gave hope of a perfect everlasting life in health and youth , amen 🙏

This still doesn't make any sense as Eve could not have had enough children in her life to populate the earth. If she has one baby every 9 months she still would only have had 800 children. And why was Cain afraid of the people of Nod, they would have been his family, but the Bible reads like Cain knew of them but not well. Please can you help me understand this,as I'm concerned about the sin element of the people of Nod.

Elllie, thanks for your response. In his commentary "The Genesis Record," Henry Morris presents the math and calculations showing that the population of the earth could have, in fact, grown very rapidly given the long life spans and many years of fertility described in the first many chapters of Genesis. Since the Bible points to the idea that we all descend from Adam (as in Romans 5:12-19), I am very hesitant to say that there was "another creation" that the Bible tells us nothing of. She was not the only one populating the earth. Eve's children were also having children. And then their children had children. It was not all from Eve.

Not possible. Scripture says all come from one man and one woman, therfore all have sinned. Secondly, woman as we know it, was formed out of a man. If God created another woman, that woman would be sinless and not really a woman since she didn't come from a man.

The first humans Adam & Eve were different from Prophet Adam and Eve who came much later. Adam simply means man and Eve woman.

I stopped watching when you said that only one creation of man took place. Only one creation of man in god's image was created. So there are two creations that look like god. THE ADAM CREATION AND THE GOD CREATION. The other human species existed but not in the image of god who made Adam . Other religious scriptures of the world has testified to this.

This is a lie from the devil and this is the EXACT lie that Satan tried to tell Eve. Humans are ALL created in God's image. Period. On the 6th day of creation, when God FIRST MENTIONS HUMANS in Genesis 1:26, he immediately says let us make mankind in our image and likeness. Where does it say in the Bible that God created other humans first and THEN created these? He said he made mankind and then told THEM to multiply. If God had made others first, (at some point during 5 days, is apparently what you're trying to say) then why would he look down and notice that Adam was alone and it wasn't good? (The ONLY time He says something in creation isn't good). If he'd made other humans already, wouldn't He have already KNOWN that Adam needed a helper right away? Where is your proof of this other race of mankind? Just piggybacking off of what OTHER religions say?(as you stated) Wow.
