Is 'evolutionist' an all-encompassing term that covers all of science, in the opinion of answers in genesis, icr, and young Earth creationists in general? Really curious, because nobody else does that. Heck, nobody else even uses the word, 'evolutionist'. I've also seen 'evolutionism', which is extra weird, and is also a word used only by Young Earth creationists. When you talk about life, you are talking about biology/genetics and subfields of biology. When you're talking about rocks and stuff, you're talking about geology. When you're talking about outer space stuff, you're talking about astrophysics, astronomy, cosmology.. There are different fields of science, you know? Each one is a specialized area of work.

That's just wrong. Without justification, you are assuming that a God could not have created Man as an animal. In reality, of course, it is undeniable that we are multicellular Eukaryotes which ingest other organisms for food. The classification of humans as animals actually predates the idea of common descent, to the point that even the Bible tells us that we are but beasts.

Also, it was the time of the Industrial Revolution so Darwin's ideas dovetailed neatly with the thinking of the industrialists of the age and provided them the justification for the enormous wealth gap created by the exploitation of workers through the gross misinterpretation of the survival of the fittest.

The truth is that most of what we know abut chemistry, physics, astronomy, biology, geology, and a long list of other fields would need to be wrong for the earth to be 6000 yeas old. However, the biggest concern that I have about this video is that, according to ICR, Thomas has a PHD in paleobiochemistry. This means that he knows that he is misrepresenting the facts. Not only is this a moral issue regarding Thomas and ICR, if there truly was good reason to believe in a young earth, he would be able to present it without having to commit the sin of lying.

And what would these 'facts' be? Instead of innuendo, give facts. If you are referring to James Hutton, I believe he and Charles Lyell were instrumental in developing the old Earth hypothesis.

So being a Chemist you can explain how to make an RNA or DNA cell from the Lab.I also would like to know your opinion on Biogenesis on how those cells developed in a pond after lighting struck and formed a living cell that after millions of years turned into a living fish that could walk on land.Do you know how the codes for the DNA or RNA developed to form a living cell.

​@@billb1048late to the party, but, come on.. everybody except for young Earth creationist seems to know that pretty much every area of conventional science conflicts with young Earth creationism. You seriously didn't know that? Why do you think these apologetics channels exist in the first place? They're more about attacking conventional science than they are about spreading the word of God. It's damage control, really. And preaching to the choir, of course.
