I agree completely with Viz at 2:26:00. Because there was far too many people still comparing expansions to the previous one or ShB/HW. Dawntrail is a new story, completely moving past these expansions and the FF9 nods have made my experience in Dawntrail even more magical. I CRIED at the final zone, because I finally have a Final Fantasy I was really familiar with inside FFXIV's story outside of the Eden Raids in ShB and the Ivalican Raids/Bozja content for FF Tactics and FF12. Just let them cook.

Did you know? that in the guloll ja ja fight if you had the viper he comment about it "I see you know the viper style" and in the cutscene after when he says about protecting Lamati from harm it actually scyncs with the class type of Tank "but one with your adamant defence could shield lamaty from those who would do her harm", dps"but one with your talents could readily dispatch the threats that bar lamaty's way", and healer "but one with your healing touch could sustain lamaty Even as she contends with the most fearsome of foes"

OH! That's interesting, 2:45:00 that's role-custom dialog. I got a line about "defeating all who stand in her way" as a melee DPS. I'll have to re-watch that scene as a healer. :)

I just noticed that Papa Ja ja in your game told you "one with your adamant defense," he does not say that if you are a dps. So that leads me to believe that his statement changes depending on what job you challenge him as. I met him as a viper and he recognized I was fighting in the same style he was. This encounter was god tier in my opinion.

My sole Fantasia usage was to make the left eye of my character that's usually covered by an eyepatch white, to imply blindness. For those rare occasions where MSQ takes away headgear, lol
