The problem I have with full size arcades is the space constraints. My home office has a Joust Arcade 1up, a Legends Ultimate Mini, and soon, Unico's candy cabinet thing (Nova Blast) which I'm planning on putting a Puzzle bobble 3 PCB inside. And 3/4 scale is just so much nicer for the home. I've noticed that there's just something about leaving the game on versus having to choose it out of a menu. If I leave a game up I'll wander over and play a lot more...

I completely agree with your last sentence. If I have to turn it on and wait for it to boot, I'll just walk right passed it.

I'm in Giddings, Tx. I have a home arcade that I call Holodeck Arcade with 30+ machines including 7 pinball and 1 full size skee ball. I have been in the hobby since the late 90's although I didn't go into beast mode until around 2017. See you at the next American Amusement Auction. P.S., I do NOT go to Ad Astra.

What are your thoughts on an arcade filled with custom arcade cabinets. Basically your MK1 cabinet multiplied by 50-60 , alongside the must have classic arcade games. ( Pacman, Galaga )

That would be amazing. Problem with custom stuff is time. Time to build, time to maintain. Console and pc games are not designed for the general public to walk up and play. People will get into menus and settings constantly so a lot of your time will be spent on work arounds and resetting things back.

Hi, this is not the topic of the podcast but I recently watched video where you built Mortal Kombat 1 Arcade Cabinet, great video by the way, and I am trying to build arcade cabinet myself, but I am struggling to find good quality artwork for it, not specifically Mortal Kombat artwork but you get the idea. You showed Mr Mike designing everything and I have a question is there some soft of site Mr Mike is using to find these good quality artworks?

In a future podcast you guys should do a topic on cool custom arcade games. On youtube and other sites and in person saw some cool ones including ones at arcades! Two arcades have smash bros arcades! (one melee and other switch version) Saw a couple of ninja turtles shredders revenge and a power rangers battle for the grid. Saw some street fighter 6 and a few playchoice 10s with one game with artwork to super mario 2, ducktales, chip and dale rescue rangers, legend of zelda, beetlejuice, wrecking crew, gremlins 2, kid icarus and matroid arcade cabs. Some pretty neat cabs.
