Lewis Hall showed he is a much better leftback than Burn but that is the problem. Eddie has to pick his favourites over form. As for him playing Longstaff yet again, despite him admitting on Friday that he has been playing all season with an injury and with injections, is just not on. No wonder heis gradually losing the fans. Longstaff has not really played all year despite being on the field. While I am stil maginally behind Eddie, I, like many others are getting sick of playing 9 men against 11. Both Hall and Livarmento are far superior to burn , and for what Longstaf has done for months we would be better playing a kid from the under 16s in his place.

I would disagree with this. Even if we took his recent and surprisingly positive appearance and forget the previous times where he was naff, i still felt he offered something going forwaerd but was average at best in defensive role. i dont blame him for this as he used to be a midfielder but im not convinced they can make a decent defender out of him. hopefully im wrong cos it looks like we are stuck with him. @@johngreen8996

Yes the skill sets are missing. Man C gave us a lesson in creating spaces with crisp passing and reading the game. City move in a pack so there are always players free. Superior fitness and speed gave City a massive advantage. Could easily have been 6 on paper so we did well to stop them scoring ,, 2 own goals the difference.

1) We bought Targett because he was relatively cheap and did a good job for us as part of the team that kept us up in the months after the takeover. Lots of the fanbase were quite happy we bought Targett at the time. 2) How do you know Maddison even wanted to come? Has it occurred to you that he may have simply preferred a move to London? Maybe his wage demands were too large? You seem to be making a lot of assumptions. 3) Tonali was widely regarded as one of the best young Italian players at the time of the transfer. Of course, you have the benefit of a massive dose of hindsight 'concern' informing your judgement. Not quite sure how you would expect the club to know about his gambling problems, unless Tonali revealed them himself? 4) The St Maximin money was used to buy Livramento, too. It's funny that you missed that out. Barnes has been unlucky with injuries, but as much as i found ASM exciting to watch, Barnes stats strongly suggested he would get more goals than ASM did. 5) Maybe there's a contractual reason why they don't want to play Hall. Maybe he just hasn't been at the right level in training.

That said i think a storm of discontent is brewing as i don't think there is going to be anything like the transfer activity that most of us feel is needed this summer. It bugs me how Burn is dismissed so much. No way in a million years do you start a 19year old youngster , who hasn’t been great, alongside a struggling Botman against Man City. Burn may not be able to run but he provides so much cover in the air at the back and stability to the centre two. Midget hall could not do that. Trippier and Tino injured. Burn is one of the first on the team sheet.

But its worrying going forward the fact Eddie said there's not going to be an overhaul in the summer, so even with 1 game a week next season, I'm not really sure if we will push for top 4. Success is achieved byfailing and going again, educating yourself on your mistakes and improving your process. We should yave a decent kitty in the summer. A new starting left back, right winger and center back on top of the full return of Joelinton, Barnes, Tonali and were looking strong next year. If we make the conference league this season we are probaly the strongest team in that competition going into it. The future is bright but the road will be tough.

You should ask eddie about team selection, tactics, timing of the subs and there impact. I honestly think if eddie had a ask the audience button we would do a better job. It was obvious what needed changed and some of his decisions are bizarre at best, his loyalty to some players needs questioned and sometimes he olays out of form players, players not fit or carrying slight injuries when he has perfectly good options on the bench as anderson and hall proved multiple times this season. But i guess if your to negative you wont be invited to the conference,

Just because a 5 - 3 - 2 formation didn't work against the best team in the country shouldn't mean we don't try other formations such as 3 - 5 - 2 etc., during the rest of the season. Qualifying for Europe won't give us as much revenue as just concentrating solely on the EPL next season and doing better than this season. Our current squad can't yet deal with playing in Europe on Tues/Wed and the EPL on Sat/Sun - the extra games and travelling must also contribute towards fatigue & injuries.

Game after game players will not get close to the opposition and close them down they give them far to much space .longstaff has to be dropped, yes he did well for about 30mins after that no,how can you play Dan Burn as a wing back,why does Eddie have to keep playing these two players when he says if you don't perform, you won't get picked (favourites, loyalty comes to mind).Questions have to be asked about certain aspects of Eddie's decision making this season.

I felt as downbeat and despondent as Keith after the game. Looking back now, they only scored from 2 flukey goals, and we did have chances. So I'm not as bleak minded anymore. However, the need for player change next season is already looking bad with Lascelles getting his extension. This suggests nothing had changed with the attitude to clearing out the players who are levels below even challenging the first choice players for a spot. Not a good sign.

I'm not sure Europe would be good for us next season in all honesty. With the limited squad we have, it will be too many games again. I think it would be better if we were able to concentrate on the Prem and target Champions league qualification for the season after. Hopefully by then, we'll have added more depth and quality to the squad enabling us to compete at that level.

You can say all this after a game to the camera and to us but when it comes down to it each one of you in front of Eddie where it matters most bottles it up or bottles it!! Perhaps use the opportunity when you can!! You’re speaking for us in a way. But you never seem to. It’s all good waffling on about all of this (as enjoyable and accurate as it is sometimes) yet not one of you ever EVER get it right in front of Eddie! The eddie sycophants will say how can you want him sacked after loosing to the best team in the world? This is very disingenuous because we have been bent over in most matches since November. At first people said but we are playing 2 games a week, the players are very tired, you are being unfair, wait until we are back to 1 game a week. Then people said but all our squad is injured, you are being unfair eddie has no players, thats why we have been terrible. Here we are in march 1 game a week and players back and we are still getting our butt cheeks spread. Why give eddie money to spend when he woukd rather play burn than his player that he wanted in hall, he would rather play longstaff when he woukd be better playing a 3 legged blind donkey in midfield. There is something fundamentally wrong with our way of playing, we dont create, control or defend no matter who we play, could be city or luton. People say give him another season but what they don't realise is there will be injuries next season and we will be expected to play 2 games a week at times, what then? Do we drop our draws and get stuffed because eddie cant handle it? If god forbid we actually win a few and qualify for the tin pot cup eddie will have tired players and the excuses will flow. Ffp means money must be spent wisely so why give it to someone that isn't the best choice to take us forward? Its just a waste of money, the next manager may not want the players eddie has bought. Finally bruno and isak will be wanting more even if our fans don't and who will eddie get to replace them? Bournemouth crap. Eddie out.

Why would Keith do his job properly? Most of the sky 6 are at top of the league where sky likes them its only potch at Chelsea that needs grilling. Newcastle are right where sky wants them. Keith is a wet wipe with no balls, the hard burning questions get ignored.
