I'm cat 4. God has assured me time and time again that he’ll lift me when I fall. Surely, if he continues doing that, then I have something valuable to him. My walk with Christ hasn’t been easy 😭 I’ve failed many times too! I never really realized it, but it was God's plan for me to build endurance in my faith. So trust me, you’re doing amazing!

I felt like a sinner, so I repented and I was almost immediately comforted and stopped crying because I knew the Lord forgave me for all of my sins and I felt happy again. Just like a guilty criminal walks up to a judge and asks him to forgive the criminal of killing a family of 4, the judge may be like yeah sure I forgive you, but I still gotta give justice for your actions and so the criminal is still sentenced to prison. So shall be the same with you and me and everyone else, we shall plead god to forgive us, and he may be like yeah I do, but he still has to give justice or he won't be a just god (A god who is a judge and gives perfect justice). Paul the apostle said in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 = "9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[b] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." So those who broke the commandments of god (the 10 commandments) won't enter the kingdom, no matter how many times we say sorry. There is 1 thing god did to save us tho, we deserved to go to prison (hell) for breaking gods law, however god, in his love for us, sent his son Jesus to Earth to take the punishment we deserved upon himself. He took 100% of the punishment the whole world deserved on that cross. So we do not have to be punished for our sins. So if you die tonight and god asks you why should I let you into heaven? You tell him that Jesus took the punishment you deserved on the cross, so that you may be saved. And because Jesus took all your punishment, you don't have to experience any punishment and that's why he should allow you into heaven. And god will allow you into heaven, not because you did anything, not because you felt sorry for your sins, but because Jesus took the punishment you deserved in hell and put it on himself, suffering on these cross and dyeing. If you truly repent of your sins and believe that Jesus is the son of God who took the punishment you deserved for your sins on that cross and believe that he rose again from the dead, you will be saved. Then you will get the Holy Spirit to help you stop sinning and help you to follow what Jesus tells you to do, which is what someone who is truly saved will be doing regularly (following the teachings of Jesus, which is detailed in the New Testament).

I hope I'm Cat 3. I constantly struggle with my faith. I constantly doubt, and I do not want to be Cat 2, and that I'm deathly worried that I am. I really do hope that I have a relationship with Jesus, but I constantly worry that I don't, even if I pray and study with my wife. I really hope to be Cat 4 one day.

As a human Dad, I can safely say that I love my kids even when they mess up. I love you and want you to grow, learn and mature in your understanding. Bible says God loves you more than I do. Believe in a god who loves you better than I can (and why would you believe in a Heavenly Father who doesn't?). Messing up is part of the process of learning.

For cat three: You may be at a place in your faith where God is challenging you to focus on Christ and His church more than your own salvation and getting everything right. Faith can start with a question of our salvation, but we should ultimately end up more focused on Christ first.

Incredibly relatable my friend. Following God can be pretty undesirable at times. I think a good place to start is by asking God to change your heart and help you grow. It doesn't take much time or difficult action, but I have reason to believe if such a prayer is prayed genuinely, God will answer

I used to think that way my friend and I believe in you, you can get out of it . The way of my thinking of getting out of it was all my thoughts only lead me to desires which is wanting something but there is no love and God is love so then I went back to God . Desires cannot fill the gap in my heart until I remember I was loved by God since I was born so then I went back to God and the emptyness is gone . P.S Sometimes I still feel lonely but I pray to God and I feel comfort again and I remember that "loneliness" is a lie because God is love and God is always with me xd . I hope this helps you .

I dont know whats your thought on it but i say this beacause at least in my perspective i think theres a lot of division between christians of different churches (for example catholics and protestants), sometimes there are things that some practice that is wrong but i think many misjudge and dont understand some things the others do and think they are not saved due to certain practices even tho there are many of different churches that know the gospel and follow God but they just do it in a different way.

My mom is a believer but doesn’t fully act on it, my brother is quite lost in sin. Im 18 and we lost my dad in November last year. I’ve been leading my family to Christ starting with relationship. Im building a better relationship with my mom and brother and I’m slowly introducing Christ and PRAYING FOR THEM!! There have been times where I’ve fallen to the same sin as my brother but you can’t do that. Im also being discipled myself so I can learn to disciple someone. Keep praying for your family and find ways to keep building your relationship. God loves all his creation. They will come to god I promise, keep going 🙏🙏✝️✝️❤️❤️

Oh thank God you understand matthew 7 haha so many interpret it the wrong way. We should be overcoming sin yes but some believers may even be disciplined to the point of physical death but their soul will be saved i look at the 1 corinthians incest relationship verses to get this info. We will never be perfect in our current flesh thats why we need Jesus imputed righteousness. I worry about those who dont believe in once saved always saved i know some are cat 3's cuz i was questioning it for awhile, but some are cat 2's thinking they can earn salvation or lose it. but God doesnt break promises and He gives us faith in the first place.

I think for long I was a cat 2, than became a cat 3, overtime a cat 4 and now I'm really getting back into cat 3, let me explain. I'm young, I still have a lot of time to think about this so I think I will figure it out by when it will matter what I do but there might be a hidden 5th box when it comes to having the Holy Spirit that doesn't appear to everyone, that being the one true church, if there is one or if there isn't, I will need years of studying this to see it. It depends also on if a person has invincible or vincible ignorance, and I feel like mine is vincible so I want to do the best that can come from me to explore the truth and find out if it's "universal" or "the one catholic and apostolic orthodox" church and than wether it is catholic/eastern orthodox/orienthal orthodox/assyrian (tho the last 2 were already excommunicated and I don't see a big worry about them I'd still look into them), I also think even if the protestant idea of a "universal" church is true than there are some things that would force me to convert still and that puts me in a road with 3 major paths. 1 being the church I was baptized into, the Catholic church, the other being the church that is the majority in my country and kind of rivals, the Eastern Orthodox church, and the one that claims to be the friendly one but ultimately still falls in this race of holding truth, a bunch of protestant churches. For now I am focusing on self-improvement and I am becoming more active in the Catholic church, trying to become more humble to people and to God, I rather ask for God's will to be done than "good days", and I also ask Mary's and some saints intercessions from time to time and I'm reading the bible too, but I generally see all 3 sides to have a fair chance, and I want to unbiasedly discover all 3 of these options and chose myself once I grew up and have enough knowledge for it. Is anyone feeling the same? I think it's really important to think about these and do your research yourself always because your salvation as much as mine can depend on this. And I feel like ever since I discovered this this 5th checkbox will never go away, and I either will find the truth and join it or perhaps lose my salvation potentially either by my comfort zone or decieveing things or just not being honest with God. I pray to Jesus to guide me trough this dilemma and hopefully I meet Him at the right church in the right belief, but most importantly I want to meet Him in heaven if possible. I still NEVER can be 100% sure about my salvation.

it took me a while to become a cat4, i kept telling myself i was unclean and that even though i can be forgiven i shouldn't be forgiven. The Lord put the book of romans into my life and it helped guide me out of my depression thinking i was not worthy of the gift of salvation Christ provided me on the cross. Sometimes those old thoughts enter my mind when i sin or backslide, but i always remind myself of Biblical teachings and the words always get me out of the depression i feel when i sin.

I have an unhealthy relationship with legalism because every time I try to get close to God, I keep thinking, Am I doing this to be seen by God or am I doing it because I love Jesus? When I love someone, I always want to be with them, so I just think I would do it with Jesus, but I don't. I know it takes dedication. I had times when I felt shame and asked God to help me. I'm good, but I fall, and I go into the circle. I fall, and I ask God to help me. I am tired of falling. I want to be close to him. I know doubt is normal. New Christian here. Only a few months in and I needed this video bad. I struggle with shame and even fear because I can't stop sinning and I thought accepting Jesus would stop my sins. So I was convinced that either I hadn't done it right or maybe that Jesus decided I wasn't one of those he wanted or something.

I think that I am 3 but I do have a real fear of being a 2. I just seem to not have very much burning passion as when I first converted, but I still do read and interpret the bible daily, and pray quite often. But ultimately the one thing I don't think I lack is conviction. I must put my trust in God that He will deliver me to heaven eventually by the time of death.

I was a little conflicted when you said for people who aren't interested in Christ to carry on, but on thinking that's a pretty causal way not to cast pearls before swine or give what is holy to the dogs. Someone who isn't looking for God isn't going to be convinced by any effort we can make. We can only pray for them.

I really hope i am cat number 3, i do care alot about my faith in jesus, and i feel awful when i remember a sin i have commited in the past, but i often have doubts and confusion about my faith and belive, to the point were i am not sure if i am cool with god, it dosent help that i have problems with anxiety , i just cant figure it out😪

I’ve felt very disconnected from God because I want my family to come to God but I don’t know how to share it with them, like we are always doing something and I never have a good moment to sit and talk to all of them. And it just like this endless loop of praying and procrastination of the Bible and I just think to myself “If I struggle this much when I’ve been with Jesus for almost 2 years then how am I going to help my family at all to have Jesus be revealed to them” I’m still so confused with God but I think about him all the time which I think helps and I think if my family had those same convictions and thoughts about God all the time then we would all be able to get closer to God together, I just feel like he’s gonna come back and it’s gonna be too late

im 3 and 4, i always doubt if i really am a christian because every time i do something a short pops up saying “if you believe and put your faith in god, he will put his faith in you and let you into the pearly gates.” but then right after theres a short that says “YOU DISSAPOINTED GOD! REPENT RIGHT NOW AND IF YOU IGNORE YOU GO TO HELL! AND LIKE COMMENT SHARE SUBSCRIBE!” honestly its just really stressful and i dont know if i will make it to it or not.

I waver between cat 3 and 4. But god is always with me. Right now im not sure if i really know god on a personal level. I feel like i used to. But recently i dont. I think about him all the time. I feel like i talk to him through prayer but he feels like a different person each time. Sometimes condemming. Sometimes loving. Different christians pull me different ways on who he is. Whether he is a god who saves you based on works and following him strictly. Which makes me feel terrible about my sin and also makes me want to change. But some pull me to a loving peaceful god. Who always loves me and wants me to grow into a better person . But that makes me feel like a lukewarm Christian. I think this video is the perfect balance between the two Thank you

You don't know if you are having a religious psychosis? I can assure you that you are having a very serious one. A NORMAL person has ZERO emotional connection to things that don't exist. I mean, NADA, ZIP, ZILCH. I never feel like I am or at least want to be connected to Santa Claus, ever. He is not on my mind. Neither is the Easter Bunny. ;-)
