Christians are now so hated mocked, as if we spread hate and distraction

I can't figure out what god wants from me. He wants me to read the bible whenever I can, never sin, and repent for any sins I have made. Yet, he tells me it is impossible to never sin. He tells me that he can forgive me for not spending all of my time with him. I don't know about anything anymore, but all I do know is that I have hope in god, hope that he can forgive me and let me be able to go to heaven, even if I'm not a good christian, the one thing I am sure about is that he will forgive me and love me even if I don't have my act together, I'll try my best to attone and do better, and hopefully that should be enough for god.

After watching the last part of the video and reading some comments. I see the clearest answer is simply we are born with free will which allows us to sin, and this free will naturally comes with temptation which is uncontrollable. But God wants us to be born again following his wish for us. While the temptation is alright to have because it's unavoidable, the actions themselves are not tolerable which is why we need to avoid sinful acts. And if we happen to commit sinful acts, to be able to have faith in God, ask for forgiveness, repent, and maybe atone depending on the context. There's also a worthwhile point to bring up on why Christians disagree on this. I believe the reason why is because of the fundamental difference between Protestant and Catholic beliefs. Not that your denomination defines your beliefs, but rather the core fundamental idea which separates these two schools of Christian thought. That difference is that traditionally with Catholicism, faith without good works is dead. Faith is important, but it needs to be backed up with action to have value. With Protestantism, faith alone is enough to be saved thereby disregarding the need to act.

Not a christian. Not even close but I do plan on being an atheist after I leave home(maybe not due to certain factors). I just hate rituals, although I would say it’s better(WAY less forceful than other religions, that’s my only criteria).
