Pokemon Legends Arceus takes place in a past version of the Sinnoh region known as Hisui, before many of the cities and towns from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl even existed. However, within the game, we are able to find where many of these locations were likely founded later on, and in this video, I am going to be showing you where EVERY location from Diamond and Pearl can be found in Legends Arceus!

my theory is arceus did not send you just to seek out all pokemon the main protagonist arceus did it cause in that timeline you did not stop Cyrus and he succeeded to restore the world arceus sent you back in time and the space time rift is a way to protect the Pokémon arceus knows that your decenendent(wrong spelling) Is the one who will stop Cyrus And the reason ingo got before you is that maybe the realm where you meet arceus made the time of the real dimension fast and those minutes you spent there is the time ingo settled in the hissui region

I still have strong hope's for DLC, they're probably going to release it near the end of summer season. The update for 'Legends' was to get folks excited for more pokemon content. I could be wrong but it's a missed opportunity to not have DLC. This was a major selling pokemon title... I liked the innovation they gave us, hope they're secretly working on the DLC.

For Eterna City, I find it interesting that the statue is literally the combination of Dialga and Palkia. I would imagine that the Diamond CLan and the Pearl Clan eventually reconciled due to the fact that they realize who the true Almighty Sinnoh is, and decided to build a City to show respect to each other. The combined statue is the symbol of the two clans became one, and both clans can worship the same statue together. 16:25 Snowpoint Temple is actually in the north of the city, which means Snowpoint can’t be between Acuity and the temple. Therefore the Pearl Settlement eventually becomes Snowpoint City, which is pretty awesome. There’s the small issue of the temple’s entrance not facing directly south in PLA, but that’s a minor enough discrepancy for this fantastical world. My theory is that any inconsistences regarding locations in the Cobalt Coastlands can be explained by both meteorites, and volcanic eruptions. We know that Veilstone is famous for it's meteorites (that aren't yet present), so their arrival could have blown part of Veilstone cape up, somewhat flattening it , and potentially creating new islands from the flying fragments. This could then make up for the missing Pokemon league and Shaymin area. ...But that's just a theory- a game theory...
@brendopls
@brendopls 2 жыл бұрын
I think its more likely that Veilstone is to the northwest of the coastlands, based mainly on turnback cave's position in the area. Also, stark mountain is way too far north to be in the coastlands imho. Firespit island more than likely went dormant and they built the league on top of it; stark mountain/the battle zone are more than likely just not included on the map.

Hmm I don't know about the league in itself because the Sinnoh league's island is much more line-shaped than Firespit Island's more circular shape. Than again, I believe that there's going to be a massive terraforming operation in Hisui, so I guess it could match up

I'm pretty sure Firespit Island isn't Stark mountain. A lot of people don't know, but Stark mountain isn't an island. Just have a look at the Sinnoh map part of the Battle Zone within the video, it's an edge of land that part of it links out of the map. This is even true with their real-world counterpart, while Sinnoh/Hisui is based on Hokkaido, the Battle Zone is actually based on a small edge of Russia that's close to Hokkaido. Also, the Battle Zone isn't anywhere you can surf to, you have to take a ship to go there, even the NPC in D/P says that, while Firespit Island you can surf there on Basculegion in no time. Even there's a point that "Sinnoh and Hisui is not one to one remade" but at least the surfing time should be consistent, right?

5:56 while evidence taken from the official website is really hard to do away with, I think Jubilife Village eventually grows so large that it becomes Jubilife *and* Canalave City. Nothing about the village resembles Jubilife city save for the name, so I think Canala Avenue serves as the namesake of what the in-game Jubilife Village becomes, while future expansions of the village evolve into Jubilife City.

Exactly. Modern day Jubilife sits almost directly below Floaroma Town, which would correlate to the bottom of Aspiration Hill. Even with locations not being a 1:1 match, that's still a huge gap. OMG I know Jubilife City doesn't have the river running through it in the modern games however it could be the river that separates Canalave from Jubilife. Also if you look at the map the area west of Jubilife Village is an area further west than appears on the Sinnoh Map, while Canalave City seems directly north of Lake Verity. Besides Canala Ave easily could have been the origin of Canalave like you said.

In my head canon Regigigas did some Terraforming between the 2 games. Also jubelife village expands into a City and then Regigigas comes along and separates the Former village for the rest of the city and then the village adapts a new name (canelave city 😉) So the official statement that it becomes jubelife city is still correct.

6:56 modern-day Oreburgh Gate does have a northern and a southern half, but the path to the city only goes through the southern half. However, the Oreburrow Tunnel’s northern exit is much lower in elevation than the other exit, which is consistent with Oreburgh Gate’s staircase. This means the tunnel dug by an Alpha Onix in the Daybreak Update eventually becomes the path to Route 203.

For the Pokémon league, I actually thought it was Veilstone Cape, the long stretch of mountain below Sendoff Springs. The reason why I thought about this was because originally I thought the Firespit area was too low to be Stark Mountain and the battle zone, but another look at the Sinnoh map made me realize that it’s actually is that low (relative to Snowpoint). What’s more is that the Pokémon league is connected to route 224, and at the edge of the Veilstone cape is as a Headstone for the previous lord Arcanine, where Palina gives her condolences to the fallen lord, Similarly at the end of Route 224 is the stone tablet. My theory is that after sometime time, the cape broke off, whether from natural causes or a disaster, and something broke the headstone and make it become the stone tablet. Interestingly enough, in DPPT, Marley, a trainer with an Arcanine is heading in the same direction as the tablet on route 224 through victory road to inspect it. Granted, she wanted to meet Shaymin but it’s interesting that she has her Arcanine with her. Maybe she was bringing it as a sign of respect.

While I don't think there's nearly enough time between Legends and the modern day for the region's shape to change by natural means such as volcanism, there is a pretty easy fix to this, and that's Regigigas. Since a huge part of Regigigas's shtick is moving the continents, I think it's highly probable that some time shortly after Legends, Regigigas started moving huge chunks of land around (my theory is that he was doing this to protect the people from Heatran), and this created its shape in the modern day. The newly-shaped land, combined the waves of settlers, the formation of new cities, and the massive cultural shift is what leads the people to rename the area Sinnoh, as "Hisui", both culturally and geographically is functionally gone.

for me the question of Canalave City and Jubilife City is that Jubilife village has mainly become Jubilife City, but the part closest to Prelude Beach has become Canalave City (also because, I don't know if that's the case also in English, but Laventon introduces you the main street of Jubilife village as "Via Canale" in Italian translated literally should be "Canala / Canave street")

I think the veilstone Cape moved slightly east over time and became the sight of Victory Road and the Pokémon League, whilst Firespit island moved north and became the Battle Zone and the volcano is Stark Mountain. I think that maybe Regigigas was responsible for the displacement of Firespit, as the pokédex states it to have the power to move the continents, and it also resides in Sinnoh.

I think while Jubilife Village ultimately becomes Jubilife City, it’s completely plausible for it to roam and move to where Jubilife City becomes. The map location, river, and bridges make it all too clear that Jubilife Village ultimately becomes Canalave City in Sinnoh.

Thoughts: Maybe Prelude Beach is what becomes Canalave? Also, I truly think that Veilstone Cape is what becomes the Pokemon League. If that part of land were to break off from the mainland and drift a little bit (something that isn't *too* far-fetched considering what Pokemon are capable of) it lines up almost perfectly. Not to mention that the circular shape of the Cobalt Coastlands isn't present on modern Sinnoh maps. It also doesn't make sense for Veilstone City to be placed there considering it means that it's Southeast of Sendoff Spring, and is positioned on a cliff above water, which Veilstone is not.

Jubilife village is most likely starting point for jubilife, canalave, and floaroma Because the village streets are named after the other 2 and with time and npc talking about expanding towards the 1st base camp it likely got big enough that the suburbs got named after the same thing as the street and in pokemon world big city don't really do the suburbs thing so in diamond and pearl they are just separate city like how in gen 1 most of the Tokyo suburbs became separate city in kanto

Jubilife Village 100% splits into both Canalave and Jubilife City. Jublifie City doesn't have a canal through the middle of the city, while the Village does, and the Village also hosts Canala Avenue. The Village is also a little more consistent with Canalave's place in the map too I think

I would say the Eterna forest is where the heartwood is partially because of the bgm that plays when you go through it. Similar to how the Twinleaf theme plays when you get to the area where Twinleaf eventually gets founded. the bgm that plays for certain areas are quite big hints for where the future cities and routes are.

I think Firespit Island will be the location of the Pokemon League, instead of becoming the Battle Zone. The reason are both it's location, and the events ingame. It is located directly north of the camp theorized to become Sunnyshore City, just like in the DPP games, after surfing for a while (Route 223). As for the volcano, it is very possible that, since you capture Heatran here, the volcano dies and leaves in it's place the series of caverns that will end up becoming the Victory Road. The other ones I think should be different are Snowpoint City (over the Pearl Settlemet) and Canalave City (founded out of the map to the west of Jubilife, theres a place where you can trace a line north to the suspicious cloud where Iron Island could be, and that would line up to Canalave)

It makes sense certain spots wouldn't be in Hisui's map since modern Sinnohians are only just colonizing the area so they haven't seen all the offshore islands or seen every square inch of the land yet. Although a forest right next to Jubilife village does seem to be a bit conspicuous for an unexplored area. I think some other discrepancies can be explained by settlements relocating or just taking the names of nearby locations. After all, I don't think Veilstone City is literally the cliff of Veilstone Cape. The Sinnoh map even shows a long pointed strip of land to the east. Personally, I'm curious about the southwest part of Hisui covered by a cloud, which was also not accessible in D/P

Here's a fun idea I had: Pokemon legends Rayquaza. Hoenn Region, circa the equivalent of 1400-1600s, the Sengoku era. Hoenn is divided between the Magma and Aqua Shogunate, with the merchant group Devon keeping their neutrality. A young apprentice of a professor is ready to start making the Pokedex when a misterious storm keeps thundering in the sky. Making some nobles pokemons extrremely angry. As we fill out the dex, we quell the rage of these nobles, each time getting some memory out of them. Turns out a Meteor is coming towards Hoenn, and Rayquaza is powerless to stop it, so much its enraged to the point it created this storm and its rage is causing the nobles to rampage. At the end, we connect with Rayquaza to get the full picture, and with the help of Magma and Aqua, we tame Kyogre and Groundon, and with the help of the three pokemons, we stop this meteor. The much-less-destructive impact site creates the crater that will be Sootopolis, alongside fragments of the meteor scattering about to Mossdeep and Meteor Falls. The later being created by these fragments. What do you guys think?

Would a suitable location for Canalave City be the beach you start on? That seems to be where most of the colonisers of Hisui landed, and with it being a port town it kind of makes sense. As well as this, I think it's quite clear that the Pokemon League is built on Firespit Island after the volcano becomes extinct. It's not crazy to assume that the Battle Resort is much further away, but in the same chain of Volcanoes that made Firespit

@@Coolbond2 But that wouldn’t make sense. It would place Floaroma Town right next to Lake Verity, which cannot be the case as Jubilife rests between the two locations. And it would also seemingly place Canalave almost on top of Verity, which again cannot be the case. It would also put Jubilife City more to the west than northwest of Verity. And if all of that doesn’t convince you enough, as he states in the video, it’s 100% confirmed on the official Pokémon website that Jubilife Village eventually becomes Jubilife City, and I’ve seen another theory stating that Jubilife Village grows to be very large, along with the small river going through the village widening, and splits into Jubilife City and Canalave City.

Also, Stark Mountain isn’t a small island. It’s just the tip of an offshoot of land that would be roughly equivalent to Russia in the real world. There’s even a real world equivalent area of land to the north of Hokkaido. I’m not sure if it has any volcanos, but considering it’s near Japan, probably. My thought is that the Fire Spit Island volcano erupted a few more times, changing the shape and size of the island, then it went dormant and they built the Pokémon league there.

Coronet Highlands has the areas where valley windworks and fuego ironworks will eventually be placed, including the river that goes from floroama to eterna... from the fabled spring to the place where Misdreavus spawn (near summit camp) That would also be around the location of the Old Chateau (either there or the moon view arena), but that would mean either Eterna Forest is just out of view or that it eventually grows from the desolate areas north of fabled spring Also... the resort is likely where you can find Turtwig in the Mirelands, since it would be to the left of turnback cave, and the current vielstone hill thing area is probably Victory Road and the league location Oreboro, probably deforested Heartwood, and the fact there is a museum there is not only because of tunnels but also finds during deforestation With this said, the natural habitat of Chimchar on Ramanas and on Deertrack eventually makes them become endangered, same with the reaort probably being the area that destroys Turtwig's habitat... Piplup habitat shouldnt be affected in modern times since you never go to the area between Turnback Cave and the Battle Zone or League The best place for Vielstone seems to be the northern areas of Mirelands, like the ruins or Liligant's spot , but i don't really know I'm just curious where the Deertrack hill or mountain is in modern Sinnoh... the obsidian falls is likely around where the gate is, so i can't find a placment for the hills... and horseshoe plains would somewhat link up to Orboro and the bike path area, where you find Ponyta, as well as connecting to Celestica Ruins and going over Wayward Cave, these two areas link with bike path

The strongest evidence I can think of for Full Moon and New Moon islands, is that they can be smaller islands sitting in the shadows of Iron Island. Based on the shape of the landmasses on the world map, it seems more likely that something happened to split veilstone cape from the mainland and the league was built on the resulting island. Veilstone cape looks just like the league island on the official sinnoh map just connected to the coast. Veilstone was then built at the base of the cape which became the new coast. As for the cause, it could be the same eruption that likely expanded firespit island into the much larger battle area.

My only thing would be about Velistone City- because brimstone is above the spring path and to its left I think veilstone is either at the location of Cogitas retreat or possibly at the Brava Arena in the Mirelands. Equally I think that where you placed Veilstone on the cape in the coastland is actually where the Pokemon league is located due to its proximity to firespit island which later becomes the battle zone etc.

If I remember correctly, Jubilife City was built after removing a mountain, so its possible that they resettled from the current place to Deertrack Heights. Makes a lot of sense, because of how close to Sandgem it is. Not to mention Floaroma to the north and Oreburgh to the east. The only issue is Eterna Forest and that they’ve mentioned that Jubilife Village becomes the City rather than resettlement. But I think they just named the cities after landmarks, so the location of Floaroma isn’t actually accurate.
