Wonderful to see you again and Congrats on your marriage! I chose to remove all my pen & ink art that I'd digitized for my online gallery due to the inadequate laws regarding copyright protection for online images. I am now publishing all my work in the form of physical books. This decision brought me so much peace of mind and happiness. I also quit all social media over a year ago, and I find that the further I move away from the internet in general, the happier I become! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I can relate so much with what you said. I feel like I have to put myself out there as an artist, but I can't pick one thing. I am mostly known as a classical singing, but I want to be more than that, but every time I make an effort and put myself out there, I get sidetracked. I also am sporadic with social media. I don't want to be known as the person who seems like he flops around without any goals...but...here I am...

Hey Louise! I am one of those new subscribers! I absolutely relate to starting and stopping. And to keeping my goals secret because I don’t always trust myself to follow through for the long haul. But I think it’s ok and good to say I’m going to try this and that for a few months. Then reevaluate. Tweak things. It’s good. You’re doing good. First with all that happened in 2020 and then ai art made me really debating and rethinking my path forward as an artist. It’s a really difficult time with so much uncertainty and that affects me a lot. So good of you to take the time to figure out where you want your path to go next. That rabbit outside your window is in fact a hare. Congrats on the marriage. I also felt really down in the dumps this past winter....car troubles and such didn't help as I was unable to go anywhere over Xmas. I've also been suffering with lower back issue....have resorted to ibuprofen now. Not ideal but the back stiffness and constant twinges threatening to go completely were just too problematic.

I feel like a lot of us 'drawing enjoyers' feel quite demotivated by AI (especially those that prefer doing digital art)... but I think it's also motivating to know that a human made physical painting for example has so much energy and life in it... hope you're still painting/making portraits!

I clicked so fast lol. I'm very happy to see you back on YT! Honestly I have been going through exactly all the things you mentioned in the video 😂. Struggling with what to do and which path to take with art, with socials, professionally (the writer's strike in the US means most of film industry is on hold). Changing my mind every five minutes etc. I'm wondering about taking a 6 month or year long break from IG to get my style in order and work more on figures/environments. I have a vision of my art too and I feel like I'm avoiding it. Struggle = REAL. Anyway I wanted to thank you for the boost/encouragement you gave in your previous videos. I started my channel because of you and I'm working on my first several part series. Your videos are so calm, and relaxing it's refreshing amongst all the noise. Lovely to see you again and congrats on your marriage! I started reading a book called The Pathless Path by Paul Millerd and watching his YT vids. His concept is to live life off the default path but I particularly like his conversations on not being clear about what he wanted to do in the future and living an uncertain life. I had the same reaction to him as Emma Gannon, both great humans I've found and binged their content! I'm on the pathless path deciding on what I want to experiment with going forward; it is not an easy process so I can relate to you and your up and downs with deciding on the best options to express your creativity and yourself. I hope you find the balance that works well for you and I hope the same thing for me!

Good for you to take a break and refill your batteries. I think a lot ob KZbinrs forget that one needs a time out, especially if it is your Job and not a hobby. If you have a regular dayjob you also woulds have vacation days.
