My garden is looking a mess too. The tomatoes and peppers are abundant and I'm trying to take care and preserve them as they come in so I don't have to be doing it all at once. My counter sits full of canning supplies so I don't have to put it away with each canning session. That's just the sign of summer here. The heat was so bad here earlier in the week and we are so dry. We have had no substantial rain for a long time. The crops in our area are really suffering. Your pop up shop will do fabulously! I think my favorite is the picture of your kitchen, oh and the mug! Glad you're back.

If you can close off their access to the nesting boxes at night, they should be using them only for laying. We have 6 boxes, they mostly all want to lay in the same one. They could be slowing down because of the heat. Blessings…daisy

Our established layers (not yet a year old, so age isnt an issue) havent laid in almost 2 weeks. 😳 I'm guessing the heat is the issue, we're in SE GA just a few miles from Florida so its awful. They're under a big sweet gum tree but its not enough when it feels like 115+ outside.
