This is sad, but if it's the right choice for you to make at this point in your life I'm so happy you were able to go forth and make that decision. You should 100% feel super proud and so much more for being the trailblazer in this field. You walked so many others could run, and are still running. Without you and your videos I would not have had the confidence to go online and talk about what I'm most passionate about, something that's changed my life. I just hope that you know how influential you've been, reading these comments shows exactly that. I've enjoyed watching your videos so much over the years, and even more so making them with you - there will always be a space for you on Nawtystep, no doubt. By the way, I fully feel where you're coming from re the filming and editing, it isn't as easy as just turning on the camera and saying what you think. I have had these problems too and it can be so difficult presenting your thoughts when you have EXACT things you wanna say - i.e. a script. More importantly though, so madly excited for you and Amanda, and the life ahead of you being a husband and complete pro manager in the scene, or whatever else you choose to do. Love you man, excited to see you at some point soon

ahhhh that's a real shame, but not altogether surprising given things I've heard you say on twitter or elsewhere recently I'll admit that for me personally, enjoying music and thinking about what to say about it have always just been one and the same and happened automatically whether I was trying or not, though I can understand where you're coming from in that regard. not to mention I've never seen your reviews as particularly negative or like you were ever really "trashing" artists, it's all in good fun imo and either way the analysis and bulk of the review generally matters more to me than whatever number comes at the end. still I definitely can relate to not finding motivation in a previously fulfilling project that you've moved your focus away from, especially since you have wayyyyy more going on in your life than me, I do not at all blame you for not finding time for YT anymore with all the other stuff going on either way, glad to have worked with you so many times (more frequently than any other channel I've worked with lol) and of course as you mentioned near the end if you ever run into a release that you feel particularly compelled to talk about and want to do another video together I'm all for it :) and I actually enjoy editing videos so all the easier lmao oh and of course congrats on the engagement! all the best wishes for you and your fiance

Aww that’s shame that you are retiring from EDM music reviews, I really wanted to know your views on a lot of recent tracks this year, but I do respect your decision! Totally understandable! Your review content was a blast and it was fun while it lasted! I am happy I discovered you from the LAXX Fake Friends album. I hope for the best in your future Landon!

You’re incredibly influential considering the size of your channel. I’m really sorry to see your reviews go, despite all the others that took your place your videos are still maybe the most well polished (either your or Connor). But yeah, I don’t blame you for quitting at all, seems like a tremendous amount of work and my time hosting Fake Music Only helps me relate to you not being able to enjoy music if you’re constantly thinking about what to say. Can’t wait to see what else you put up here, and good luck with everything going forward!

Congratulations on getting engaged! That’s so exciting and I’m so happy for you! That being said, everything you said in this video makes complete sense. I wouldn’t want to have to be constantly thinking about a future review that I’ll be making every time I listen to an album. I wouldn’t want to spend so much time editing it either! Hobbies come and go. I’ve experienced that myself, and it’s always bittersweet to let go of an old hobby that’s no longer fun, but I always feel better after I let it go and am able to look back on what I achieved, and not worry about continuing it anymore. I’m glad you’re doing what fulfills you, and I wish you the best for the rest of your life! :)

I just wanted to say I've been quietly watching for a long time now, and I loved listening to what you had to say about an album,. Whether it was spot on, or I agreed to disagree, I loved listening to you talk about electronic music. Best wishes ❤❤❤

Dude, it's been awesome watching your reviews. It's kind of a bummer that this is happening when albums like MUZZ's new LP are coming soon and with recent releases of albums like Koven's Butterfly Effect, but I totally respect your decision. Good luck for the future. Finally, I want to congratulate you on your engagement. I wish you and your fiancé all the best for the future.

You're an absolute legend Landon. Obviously I'm a little bummed out that your reviews are coming to an end, but if you weren't finding any enjoyment in making them then it's completely reasonable that you'd wanna stop. Those reviews really helped shape my music tastes over the last year and a half since I found your channel, and I always loved hearing what you thought about each new Monstercat comp that got released. You introduced me to artists that have become some of my favourites like Eliminate and Ekcle. I genuinely wish you the best of luck with artist management, and can't wait for more note block episodes. I assume I'll still see you around on the Monstercat Facebook and Reddit pages, and on Twitter. And lastly best of luck on the wedding man!!! Well wishes.
