Where in the World is the DALI? Day 26 and a new destination

The Dali has rounded the Cape and is now headed ENE on a 74° heading. Still making 15.2 kts. the ship seems to be making good speed. We noticed the destination has changes on Marine Traffic from Ningbo to Fujian, China.
We will continue to monitor the progress and many thanks to Topcatand gang for alerting the Minorcan Navy to the changes! Way to stand watch!!!

As of 28 minutes ago, she was moving at a whopping 16.4kn, still approaching the southern tip of Madagascar! Good luck there, people! I'm relieved they've made it thus far, limping along the entire way. Must be scary...

Just found out that the Dali is Amphibious . Saw her sprint across the western tip of South Africa !

Likely the change in destination port is availability of facilities or may have got a cheaper bid for the work at the new destination. It is going at close to normal speed for a long-haul container ship. I presume there is little or no load on it (except for some empty containers).

Dali is halfway between the tip of South Africa and the northern part of the Straight of Mallarca

You refer to the vessel Dali as a she. How do you know what pronouns this vessel identifies as?

All ships are "she". Had you not noticed that when 2 ships come into contact, a new smalll ship is never produced? In fact in many cases when 2 ships come together the result is the death of one of them 😞
