I agree with Chris about Gabby. I feel bad for her and I am sorry for her family but a lot of people missing, I would love to highlight other people, too. Edit in: Most of Queens is upper middle class, they have great schools there. I used to live in New York and am originally from there. Also, I am black but have a British/ South African accent. People make fun of my accent all the time and I laugh with them. Why is that funny but it isn’t funny to make fun of other accents? There are definitely double standards in the offensive game. Everyone needs to stop taking things so personally and have a good laugh.

exactly it's not racist, if ME a foreign person was born raised and grew up in India or China or Nigeria or ANY of these countries and I then later tried to speak English? I'D HAVE AN ACCENT TOO so no I don't say its racist to do different accents especially for acting and stuff it's talent if anything in my honest opinion, now OFCOURSE if you use it with the intentions of being racist? That's obviously different the undertones are different the stereotypes are more offensive and all of that? Then yeah I can see where that would be racist but context is EVERYTHING

Heather- it just came out that on the same day that Gabbie was reported missing (Sept 11th), Brian and his parents left their home in a new/ different camper! That’s super suspicious, BC why would they leave their house when their son’s fiancé is reported missing? Wouldn’t they want to stay home in case she returned, or to get updates? Secondly, who the F spends 2 months “camping”, then comes home and immediately goes out “camping” again with his parents? They showed pics of the new camper…not big enough for 3 adults to camp comfortably.
@karleet3 жыл бұрын
My conspiracy theory is that the parents packed enough food, gas, supplies, etc to make a 3 day trip (the Neighbor said they were gone for 3 days) so that they wouldn’t need to stop anywhere, as to avoid cameras and people. They took Brian and dropped him off and came back home without him. There’s not any proof that he has been seen since he drove home and arrived on the 1st.

Heather, I love you and I love your show - especially when Chris is on. I do think you are off base however in referencing the disappearances of indigenous women. Many credible documentaries and reports across North America have studied the disappearances of black and indigenous women, revealing that they (people viewed as being from troubled backgrounds) receive far less attention (from the police and the media). Assumptions are made that are not necessarily true. The disparity is sharp when you compare the disappearance and probably death of a Black university student and that of a blonde university student who is assumed to be from a "higher class" family, which is wrong. One missing person should be treated with all the attention given to another.

See something say something is real Heather... I was driving grabbing ice cream around midnight in Reno where I live and as I went around a bend in the road I saw a grown ass man closed fist cold clock an extremely PREGNANT woman She crumbled to the ground and he stood over her screaming that she needs to quit being a whining lil b word. I had my windows rolled up and could still hear him yelling at her (she was clearly unconscious) I looked at the person who was in the car with me and was like did I see that right? I mean it happened so fast I was in shock. I wanted to stop but the guy was HUGE and I was this tiny little 19 year old 100 pounds soaking wet with my mom who was sick from breast cancer and I knew we couldn't take him. So I called 911 and gave the most detailed description. About a while later I got a knock on the door. It was the cops they told me they found them in the same place I saw them at and the woman was sent to the er with a brain injury knocked out teeth and sent into early labor. She was still laying there when the cops showed up and the guy told the cops she annoyed him with her constant nagging and she was faking because he's hit her harder then that before and she was "just" pretending to be asleep. They asked if I would write a statement and go to court if needed which I was glad to do. I never heard back so guessing she stayed with him. I find myself thinking about it all the time. The cops told me that we probably saved her baby's life that night. I swear god made me crave ice cream so late so we would drive by at the exact moment. People don't need to be Karen's all the time but people do need to say something if u feel or know something isnt right.

This is tragic but not really a van/camping issue. Domestic violence (if that’s what it is) or mental health related can be anywhere. Also van/camping can be wonderful! BTW There are multiple toilets for vans. Some even have showers. We are in our 60’s, been married for over 40 years and often “dry camp” off grid. We have an extra tent for our portable toilet. We would never go home if we could!

@@joycedominguez1828 what I meant was if this tragic ending of someone’s life is due to someone beating on someone else it doesn’t matter if it occurs while someone is living in a van in the woods or in a mansion. Domestic violence can occur over and over again in any living situation. Where someone goes to the bathroom doesn’t cause domestic violence. Pooping in a portable bathroom (small tall tent) in a portable toilet doesn’t cause someone to kill someone. Living in a van doesn’t cause domestic violence…. Not a van/camping issue, it’s a domestic violence issue. IF that’s what happened and as you pointed out, we don’t know what happened.

I wasn’t impressed with the attitude of the cops through the dash cam. Especially toward Gabby. I know they need to be impartial in domestic disputes, but that certainly didn’t appear to be the case. They didn’t see the larger pattern. Scot was cheating, so that sealed the deal.
