I disagree with you & all the panelists Arnab. It is not because Salman Khan is a celebrity that justice is easy with him. It is BECAUSE he is a celebrity that the case has caught so much attention through the media. If the culprit is an ordinary mortal he simply goes scot free the moment he commits the crime. I am a victim of a hit & run case. When I was crossing the road in a "ONE WAY MAIN ROAD" in Bangalore, a scooterwala came on the wrong side as they always do & hit me. I fell down & lost 3 of my front teeth & was bleeding. After first aid when I went to the police station, they pretended to be very busy suddenly & did not even look at me for 10 minutes when I lost hope for justice & walked away. There was a tender coconut water seller who was the only person ready to come as a witness if necessary. There was a movers & packers company, whose employees helped me in getting up & moving, who flatly refused to come as witnesses. I wouldn't blame them having seen the attitude of the police myself. This happened just last year in Bangalore Jayanagar 9th block in a main road parallel to Bannerghatta road where all the IT companies are located. When I called the cloth shop owner who hit me with his scooter & asked to pay my medical bills, he not only did not say "sorry" but insulted me saying, "Your teeth were very weak. It is not because I 'hitted' you. If you have that kind of teeth they will break & don't blame me for that." I gave up like most of the Indians. When I phoned my house owner in Madras & told her this, she said, "Oh it happens all the time in Madras as well." She said she was on a wheel chair for 1 yr after she was hit by a scooterwala who came on the wrong side of a one way main road. She neither got compensation nor an apology. He also went scot free. This happens in Bangalore (& according to her in Madras as well) all the time. If you stand & count the scooters which come on the wrong side to reach their homes during lunch because they don't want to take the round about way, there will at least be 10 of them in 1 hr. The lesser mortals get completely scot free hitting unsuspecting pedestrians crossing the road, by riding on the wrong side of a one way main road to reach their destinations quickly. There are no CCTV cameras or traffic police in most of the busy main roads because the ministers are busy attending marriages or going on a junket to Brazil. This happens only in India.

how about you even did n't mentioned about patel (body guard) who stood up and reported to police and registered FIR (what i heard was true) and he went to jail for not showing up for the case, lost job become drunkard and finally died? even the fact that after 12 year he got convicted and got bail it will go for another decade to hear final judgement. this is the pathetic situation in INDIA. In my life time i don't understand on what basis cases after judgement from lower court, system will allow cases to retried in high court and then SC. ( with out a valid reason to show injustice happened how come they allow to go to high court)

I like the format of this show and enjoy when I understand the language. However, it is on the contrary to my understanding of the Indian (South Asian) culture where there is an immense respect for the people talking without being interrupted or people communicating with an indirect communicative style - still getting their points across with cool head and more facts. I wish at least each speaker had a chance to complete their thoughts except for the noisy anchor.

There was a car in front of me who knocked a poor puppy down because during Diwali firecrackers the poor boy went to the road and by accident he was knocked by two people and I was the second one . When. It happened and I heard the sound I wasn’t aware but behind the mirror I just stopped the car through all odds the lacerations I couldn’t stop crying . bringing him to the clinic they wanted to put him to sleep which was painful in my eyes with the cardiac arrest . The whole night I stayed with baby , and brought him to a burial site full of dogs who take care of the cemetery .He passed away so early and I’ll never forget that moment . This is in Malaysia . But I never mentioned I’m a dr saving people’s lives . A grown adult a person driving above the Alcoholic limit hit into three persons rather he neglected and hit and run. No empathy Salman ? And the person and family suffered out of this and providing compensation for the homocide ?since when was money worth a human life . homocide homocide . Salman how can u sleep at night? It will be embedded in your history .

Still people like you (un-selfish & pure) are thats why justice comes out; especially Ravindra Patil had very very sad ending who till death stood by truth. We Indian should understand that kamaal khan is dual national of london and pakistan, if you try to extradite him then pakistan will create problem as there is no clear understanding on extradition of national between two countries. So here are our options. A. File a litigation in court under public safety act B. Some HR NGO should file the case again. C. Use this as precedence and let all criminals walk free. Lastly for heaven sake take this case out of mumbai and maharashtra, put it in south India or delhi High court where criminal are treated as criminal, where we have strong headed judges, where even ppl like DP yadav can be taken to task,. Shame!
