Tax is not always the problem - the real problem is the constant anxiety/stress/hassle of record keeping to ensure that you pay the correct tax, as well as the interest/penalties/fines for late payment.
@stevemyers20922 жыл бұрын
Tax is the problem for me, as an accounting firm we will have CPA's working for us so the reporting and filing and record keeping "IS" our job, it's what we do, so that is not a concern.

UAE doesn’t have a “good weather”, it’s not bad in the end of year but now it is blazing hot, I’ve been in UAE since the beginning of June. I used to live in California and Las Vegas and many states in the mid west and although the temperature was higher by the numbers, the feel was never this hot. Last time I was here it was November last year, the weather was great then. I don’t think I’ll stay in UAE during summer in the future since I’m a perpetual traveler now.

I think the 9% corporate tax is applicable to UAE Freezone companies if they do business within the Emirates.

What if my income comes from Canada. Do we still pay tax in UAE?
@vinnykrish957911 ай бұрын
You have a company registered in UAE. You invoice a client in Canada & get the funds into UAE company's bank account. In this case, the amount will be taxable in UAE. The 9% corporate tax is applicable to all entities, Freezone, Offshore or Onshore.

Exactly; copycatting is not the way to go. Also, "very unique" makes no sense; something is either unique (one-of-a-kind) or not. Just say "unique".

UAE is part of IBAN-system for payments, also Qatar Kuwait Bahrain Saudi Arabia and what not. should be easy to move money to you :p perhaps not as fast as with SEPA (the posh "EU+friends" part of IBAN), but still :)

Andrew where might a new online bootstrapped service company ready to launch go for general advice regarding long term planning so as not to make costly mistakes at an early stage? I am in Canada but open to going where I am treated best...within 2 yrs we should be doing $3-5M and at almost 50% tax here is not it. There is still time to change things as we have not opened the doors. I am in my 60's and have had success previously as an entrepreneur.

@djenzo240gamer62 жыл бұрын
I know someone who is in the same stage as you are. What kind of service company? The answer would depend on factors you need to consider like your company type, your target market, where your employees are, where you want to live, etc. Your answers to these would determine the location/s where you need to find specialists/tax lawyers to consult with. It could be UAE, Asia, Latin/Central America, Eastern Europe, or a combination of these.
@stephenlight6472 жыл бұрын
That’s his business and it would take major amounts of his staff time to answer. Would you give your product free to random internet correspondents? No, you would not. Hire the guy if you need advice.

Find an accountant that hates Trudeau so they can help you pay the least amount of tax possible. lolol. My friend is a multimillionaire and he paid $3,000 in taxes last year. Do it legally of course and there are ways. Wealthy people don't pay alot in taxes.
