The plaintiffs say the defendants scammed them for a car down payment, but then never delivered it. They’re suing for a refund. The defendants say they did get a deposit, but the plaintiffs never showed up to pick the car up and pay for the balance. They waited three weeks and then said they no longer wanted the car but still wanted their money back.

WHAT I HATE ABOUT SMALL CLAIMS COURT IS THAT: (AND I HAVE SUED & WORKED IN THE COURTS) THAT 82% people do NOT get there money back. The other party often are not working, or on disability, or will make the lowest amount possible of $5 a month and its not reinforced. The only upside is that if they do own any property you can file for a “lien” on houses, other cars, boats etc but they usually dont have those things because they are crooks & scammers. You can also file after 30 days of no payment from the defendant on the 31st day for a garnishment from there checks or future jobs but again thats a separate matter that you have to pay a good portion to a 3rd party entity like a garnishment establishment in your local area (which is also a process) I hope if anyone reads this, maybe it can help.
