I worked on Black Widow and I remember the villain lady coming in to us to get her makeup done and I remember like these guys going "oh…ooooohhhhhh………ugh😬" at the realisation they were doing a gender swap on the main villain. I like the idea of portraying depression in hero/anti-heroes stories. Talk about a MESSAGE that's worth spreading.... I don't know. Not that I'm full of hope for the Marvelverse of Wackness, but this movie gives me "unpretentious" and down to earth vibes. Might make us keep expectations very low, and then surprise us. They can redeem SO MUCH of previous stuff if they keep this one close to the ground: The falcon and Winter Soldier, Blaw Widow, among many other things all these characters have been badly treated. And I have a hunch Sentry is going to be great. It's a somewhat hard character to translate to the MCU, but with a few wise changes and choices it can turn out pretty good!!. If depression and mental health are the underlying themes in this movie, I'M ALL FOR IT!!

I could have dealt with Falcon being Cpt. America, but the show on Disney+ killed it for me. Without the super soldier serum he is just Cpt Falcon with a shield. Which is exactly the same mentality of this Thunderbolts. These characters have been handicapped by either not reaching their full potential or embracing a message.

Man I'm gonna be honest, I'm definitely right leaning on most issues, I've been right along side most people complaining about DEI and woke politics in entertainment media, but by the time I got half way through this video I was actively thinking "is this really what we sound like? Is this where we are now?". I think mcu is beyond repair n Disney can’t/won’t even acknowledge issues..
