A Toronto walk along The Queensway from Islington to Park Lawn Road. Then I head south down to Humber Bay Park.

Hi Johnny, that tent is cirque du Soleil show Echo. They moved location from Ontario place last year when the show Kooza took place.

The noise of the rushing traffic alone turns me off from walking the Queensway but it’s car loving Toronto. Nothing you can do.

P.S. - if you walk south through the Humber valley from Old Mill subway station, the path is interesting and varied. Bypasses the Gardiner/Lakeshore kerfuffle by walking beside the marshes.

I keep missing you when you're in my hood! Glad you had a beautiful day for it, anyway ... but too bad about the loud intrusive traffic in the area. Recommend subwaying to Kipling, then bus south to Humber College - the walk through the Spit out into the lake is lovely (and historic - former asylum built by the patients.)

@JohnnyStrides don't think there is a Taste of the Queensway. You were probably thinking Taste of the Kingway on Bloor - which would be a nice walk to do in September

Johnny, this place is okay to me, and I don't see anything wrong with it aside from these super expensive condos you love so much that are unaffordable for most of the population, and also which do _nothing_ but displace independent mom & pop retail like the stores you're walking past.

Shiny new condos today form the backbone of tomorrow's affordable housing units. I strongly dislike the displaced retail aspect, but it's absurd to be opposed to new housing in dense forms IMO. It's a case of something is much, MUCH better than nothing. But of course they could be better.
